First, we need to understand that the word "democracy," when uttered or written by leftists, is a synonym for Marxism and tyranny. "Democracy" is mob rule initially until a strong-arm oligarchy emerges to stamp out all opposition. Democracy means "no Constitution" because it, along with any guarantees of individual liberties and protected civil rights, was destroyed during the mob rule phase. Of course, a non-binding "Contstitution" may be placed on display for appearances sake during the Oligarchy phase.

Ergo, "Democracy" is absolutely something whose end we should welcome.

Second, per the above, the US is not a democracy; the US is a representative republic. A republic, not a democracy. We the People welcome the end of "democracy" and of tyranny and of oligarchies crushing our individual liberties. We the People do not appreciate living under the thumb of Injustic Department brownshirts who can disregard our Constitutional rights with impunity. We welcome the end of democracy and the restoring of our Constitutional protections.

There was no Capitol attack. There was certainly a Nov. 8th election steal, but no Jan 6th Capitol attack. He must have been talking about his praise for the courage of the peaceful protests daring to face a weaponized, tyrannical government that sought/seeks to destroy those who oppose even the government's absurd, official narratives.

Allow me to echo his praise for We the People who protested the stolen election.
