Jade's collectors corner.

This is hanging in my room.

Stashed somewhere in the bowels of my house are numerous Barbie dolls, still unopened. Some probably 35 years old or so. The wife bought a number of them way back when.

Barbies for some reason can be valuable, but it's normally very specific ones, still in the box.

Right underneath where my first pic was taken this collectable art sword hangs. Those cherry wood sword cabinets are pretty impressive as well.

Never have been a collector, but the only thing I have that could remotely be considered a collection, are my Russian Orthodox icons. I make it a point to keep them as I inherit them, or as they are given to me. I display them in the traditional-style icon corner .

Not mine, but an example (Mary and baby Jesus)

Sidebar: My Canadian cousin had a work colleague who foolishly tried to smuggle out some traditional painted icons in her suitcase, and got busted at the Moscow airport. She received a three year sentence in a Russian prison. Hardcore, man. Basically, the Russian government doesn't fuck around with icon smugglers!

Well those are the only two pictures I have so far, but I have tons of star wars stuff. I might have to pull some aside for a picture.

A good friend passed away a few years ago. His son wanted to display his pool cues. I made this cherry display case using wood from a tree I took down in my yard decades ago. Hard to see the cherry frame because of the lighting. I have other pix on another computer.

Awesome swords, and the Japanese swords are true works of art.

p.s., I marvel at your extraordinary thread ban list.
You could basically say it filters out all racists, bigots, sexist, dunces, dimwits, chumps, liars, libelers, slanderers, and mean girl gossipers. Good work, chap!

Some of those are worth a lot of money to collectors, esp. the unopened/unplayed-with ones!
