JPP Cup Debate Championship Field Is Set

Well i received a PM from PMP and unfortunately he has exercised his choice to discuss politics at another board. That's unfortunate. His logic was pretty sound. You guys feel you have the right to post your girly pictures and that if he didn't like them he could turn them off. He felt that it wasn't something he had to put up with so he exercised his right to take his business elsewhere.

I'm beginning to think all those ghostly stories concerning the legendary message board judge's curse, weren't merely the idle blatherings of the gin-soaked whores of old London town after all.

Thorn - becomes a judge and mysteriously vanishes.
PMP - becomes a judge and is now no more.
We await to see what terrible fate should befall Grind.

So, it's clearly all your fault, Mott. I hope you're satisfied. You monster.

Ay caramba, that’s kinda a bummer. While I considered PMP an evolution-denying, Climate Gate conspiracy theorist, the dude had a reasonably mature and adult decorum about him; a dude who never stressed out about anonymous, digital message boarders on the interwebs. Which surprisingly, has become rarer and more infrequent since we lost our original posse of A-team posters like Care4All, Immanuel, Ornotbitwise, et al.

So with that said, let the porn-shows, the petty insult-hurling, and the emotional meltdowns continue and commence!

Except when I called him PiMP....that got under his skin....but hey.....how could I resist a set up as sweet as that?

Apparently he didn't as he flamed me several times about it. I offered to change it to PoMP but his response wasn't very Christian. Be that as it may. I'm dissapointed that he left though I really can't argue with his reasoning for doing so. I don't think his request was unreasonable and when those he asked refused to compromise he exercised his right to take his business elsewhere. I hope that doesn't start a trend here at JPP.

I think those who wouldn't compromise place Damo in a difficult situation as he has to balance free speech vs common sense.

So basically our only option was for EVERYONE to change their posting style, when the majority of it is confined to a forum that politics is not discussed, so ONE person can be satisfied? And this person had several options (turn off avatars, sigs, ignore lists, etc)? Good riddance.
 
as far as I know threedee is the only person right now with a sig girl. PMP probably doesn't even read threedees posts. He could have just ignored him.

I had a girl in my avatar and I changed it when he asked me too. So what was he really crying over?

He was just being a crybaby attention whore who was upset that he wasn't getting his way. His childish antics shouldn't be sympathized with.

I also told him about adblock and when I suggested it he flipped out. I was only trying to be helpful towards him but when I give him friendly advice for someone that I know would work well for him he just spazzes out.

On top of the fact that he literally had like 6 options to deal with ONE USER with ONE PICTURE, he's a very stupid poster that doesn't even know who I am when I change my name despite it being bold, red, and JPP staff under my name, not to mention the same sig, location, etc.
