Jury in Georgia Trump Inquiry Recommended Multiple Indictments

Wonderful, hope the prosecutor has fun proving that.

And don’t be surprised if most of them are the proverbial “ham sandwiches”.

Does anyone here know exactly what these people are charged with?
They aren’t charged with anything, yet, no one has been indicted.

A special grand jury that investigated election interference by former President Donald J. Trump and his allies in Georgia recommended indictments of multiple people on a range of charges in its report, most of which remains sealed, the forewoman of the jury said in an interview today.

Asked whether the jurors had recommended indicting Mr. Trump, Ms. Kohrs gave a cryptic answer: “You’re not going to be shocked. It’s not rocket science,” adding “you won’t be too surprised.”

Well, she and I agree on something then. She also predicted he'd become President back in the day when she thought he was awesome. Seems she was right on point then too. Well, I don't "hate" Trump. I hate nobody. Though I am a "never Trumper" now. I think he's done more to help the Democrats than any other republican politician in my lifetime.

I would also say he left the true conservative movement in shambles and got it mixed up with all kinds of things that distract from Conservatism. I love it.

I hear you. Though I find it disconcerting. I'm sure you remember my predictions that Trump would not be the nominee... Gah...

You know what the opposite of a cryptic answer is? A definitive one.
She can not reveal names, in fact her interview was cringeworthy because Grand Jury proceedings are secret.

I dont remember, you are predicting that this time or are you saying you predicted it last time?

Do you think DeSantis would be much better with his adaptation of Trumpism?

Do any of you people believe Biden would be president in any universe where Trump did not exist?

She really shouldn't have said anything.

We'll see soon enough.

There is no way that it should be legal for a sitting President to pressure an election official to "find" enough votes for him to win.

Do any of you people believe Biden would be president in any universe where Trump did not exist?

Well, looks like they picked a bunch of TDS loons for that panel.

Here's a liitle poke to all you TDS-addled loons here:

"Special grand juries in Georgia do not have indictment powers; the ultimate charging decisions will be up to Fani T. Willis, the district attorney of Fulton County, Ga., who has led the investigation."

7 months of government money wasted. This is an abuse of government power and taxpayer money. It's all to benefit Democrats, too.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it! :awesome:

Are you against the rule of law?

I know, the special Grand Jury is simply a fact finding and recommendation process. It gives the prosecutor cover for what they want to do, and it helps collect evidence because they can call witnesses ahead of time and get their testimony under oath. It also often gives power to get people for perjury because they are put into a position of ratting someone out or perjuring themselves.

Its a very useful tool for a prosecutor.

It also gives us a pretty good hint of what the prosecutor is going to do, because why would they want a Grand Jury recommending prosecution if they are not going to do it.... If they did not want to indict those recommend for indictment, they would not have asked the GJ to recommend it.
