Just got my new computer

Just built my first computer. Here are the specs:

Intel i5 quad core (some mid range model I don't remember)
Geforce 1070
480 gig ssd
2tb data drive
16 gigs of DDR4 2600 (I think)

I also have a 144hz 1440p IPS monitor.

Kind of regret going 144hz. The difference between 120hz/144fps and 60fps is much less than the difference between 30fps and 60fps.

Although I'm dumping some of my profit sharing into upgrading, especially since they announced the 1080 Ti last week, along with the Ryzen. Figure both of those, and another 16gb of DDR4 (which would bring me to 32gb total) will be about $1300. I won't need to upgrade for 6 years after that.

I looked at Ryzen (actually I waited on Ryzen to come out) but decided it wasn't worth it. This will be good enough for me for years.

CPU will blow anything gaming wise out of the water for years, honestly if anything it's overkill. I'm not running a server. As for GPU, it wasn't worth it to me to wait several months for the next generation. A 1070 is, again, overkill for the sort of gaming I do.

Yeah it really is. I'm getting 60fps with a 970 and a 4670 Intell on most of my games.

it has the latest version of the square thing with gold prongs on it, the i7 is a better square thing but typically overkill for most people. watermarks i5 square thing is still very good for his needs and perfectly fine.

then he got his porn storage. it has 480 giggities. this type of porn storage is solid state and doesn't have moving parts. it's a very fast but more expensive than other porn storage devices which have moving parts.

then watermark got a storage device that looks like a mini record player. That's for all his porn of redheads. he needs much more space for this. It's slower than the other rectangle porn storage unit but it holds way more redheads then he could need in the near future.
