Kamala Harris Goes Full Retard

Hey Kamel Toe! There are dumb ideas and your idea is one of them. You went full retard.
Had you seen her video in full context and not some framed version via a nobody podcaster you’d know what she was asking for was in her words a “brainstorming” of all ideas amongst Democrats, to air all and any ideas inorder for others to examine and considered arguments.

Just her saying "There are no bad ideas" was a bad idea. There ARE bad ideas, and she went on to propose a number of them.

DC was NEVER intended to be a state. It was to be federal district. That way it couldn't be pandered to like a state could because the seat of federal government was there.

Puerto Rico has had a number of votes for statehood and turned it down every time. What does Harris propose, making it a state whether the residents want that or not?

Packing the Supreme Court? Court packing is never a good idea.

She all but openly says this is all about Democrats retaining power and nothing else. That too is a really bad idea (as it would be for Republicans to do likewise).

Sure there are bad ideas, but is it not better in a brainstorming exercise to get them out there so that they can be dismissed

Wyoming was never meant to be a State, but it is, and DC’s Federal District can easily be separated from the city of DC, currently its population is greater than Wyoming and several other existing States

That’s up to PR, she is not recommending forcing them into the country

The Supreme Court numbers have been changed previously, there is precedent, and when Mitch made approval a majority vote it stopped being a nonpartisan entity, changing it for political ends would seem the next step. Personally, I would recommend term limits and an enforceable ethics code

I think the GOP has already committed itself to retaining power and nothing else.

the democrat party believes that they have an inherent right to hold power, much like Kings do. They think it should be passed down from democrat to democrat and fuck the people.

If they don't get their way, they are not above changing the rules. That is what they did with Gerrymandering. But, then the GOP caught up and now they hate it. Like every scheme they cook up they always end up hating it when it stops working for them.

A recent example is the jungle primary in Commiefornia. Basically the top two candidates go on to run against each other. It is designed to pit a democrat against a democrat so win win for the NOKING party.

But, now they fear that there is an outside chance a Republican can win (I seriously doubt it) but there are whispers of dumping the jungle primary

The powers that be never want to take another chance on an outsider like Trump winning ever again.

Don't be fooled, the democrat party LOVES kings as long as they are their own

Democrats didn’t start gerrymandering, both parties do after the decade census, but it was Trump who started the off cycle gerrymandering with Texas and the Democrats responded

And don’t get too excited, there are several Blue States that have been restricted from gerrymandering amendments added to the State Constitution. Unlike the Red States they can not just have the Governor tell the Legislature to gerrymander. Unfortunately for the GOP, those Blie States are now in the process of adding new amendments to allow gerrymandering so you are going to see a huge swing for 2030

The rest of your post is just regurgitated AM radio rhetoric

Ummmm check your history, democrats in Georgia tried to redistrict mid cycle and they have done it but hey history isn't your strong suit is it.

You are just mad because the Red states are better at it than team Blue.

And clearly you don't understand politics or what is going on. There aren't many viable states for democrats to gerrymander. They have already gerrymandered what they could. According to Cook Report they might be able to pick up 3 seats. Virginia was their best shot but that got blown to smithereens. Do you think if there were other viable paths the demalquedacrats wouldn't be doing it right now? You are a fool if you think otherwise.

As for 2030 if prevailing trends continue, it doesn't get better for Team Blue because when the new census comes out, blue states like Commiefornia and New York are going to lose seats and Texas and Florida will likely gain them. And let's not forget that Biden's Census Bureau "fucked" up the Census and cost the GOP seats and refused to correct it. We have been living with that error for years.

As for your AM radio crack? You are such a boomer still using criticisms from the 90s. I haven't listened to AM radio since the great Rush Limbaugh died

Actually, Democrats did invent and start gerrymandering. The term is a portmanteau from the name of the politician who invented it, Elbridge Gerry, governor of Massachusetts and at one point the VP of the United States. He was a Democrat--well at that time the party was called, Democratic-Republican--and did the first, what would become known as gerrymander in 1812. The word is a concatenation of his last name and 'salamander' which his voting district map was said to resemble.

Ah, no, Democrats tried to stop the GOP State from redistricting a black district out of existence, they weren’t the ones who initiated the redistrict plan

Wrong. I live in on of those Blue States that can not redistrict due to an amendment passed a decade ago to prevent
partisan gerrymandering. However with the recent GOP national effort the State Legislature is currently working on passing a revision amendment. If they pass it it goes before the public and if voted in will allow the State to redistrict closting the GOP up to four or five seats. Other Blue States are in similar situations

Census could add and subtract numbers, but as I said, there are a lot of red districts in blue states that would still be in jeopardy

True, but the melodrama and histrionics perpetuated in that AM talk radio still dominates much of the right today as evident by your posts

Democrats did not invent the current wave of gerrymandering, happy
