"Testimony" in senate and congressional hearings is nothing but theater, Bart O'Kavanaugh has demonstrably lied already in this charade, it is common and nothing new.

Every witness should be brought before the Senate "PUBLICALLY" interviewed on TV by any lawyer the Democrats in the Senate choose and cross examined by any lawyer Kavanaugh decides he wants to defend him and a vote up or down on kavanaugh should take place the next day. Try some real justice folks!

His accuser has the right to file charged against him in Maryland where there's no statute of limitations, why Don't democrats encourage her to do that? Because no prosecutor would touch it with a 10 foot pole, right?

This is not a trial. it is a hearing. We are trying to determine if Bretty is qualified for the Supremes. That means what his leanings are, and what kind of person he is, and how he treated people in the past is relevant. His attitude toward women is not just a sex thing, but a power one. The man power thing is big in this one.

If it is, a very bad candidate like Kavanaugh makes it easy. Sanders said every candidate deserves an up or down vote? The Repubs refused a Dem candidate, Garland,to even have discussions with the senators and absolutely no hearing. What the repubs say would be funny if the seat was not so important.

You are correct. the seat was Obama's to fill. How did the Repubs treat Garland? much worse. Much of this is caused by the arrogant display of power the Repugs used last year. They should have gone through the motions and had talks with garland and then held a hearing. They could have followed up with the down vote that surely would have happened. But they just threw their power in the Dems face .
This time they wont even permit the FBI to investigate. They kept 95 percent of his writings and decisions from us all. The tone was sent by Mcconnell. You cannot expect the Dems to take disgraceful treatment like that and not fight back.
However Brett is a bad drinker and abuser of women. That made it all possible.
