Kyle Rittenhouse

The guy with the skateboard tried to stop him from shooting more people. I can see what the kid was unhappy. He drove a long way to kill leftys.

that did not happen, you lying piece of shit. are you on drugs?

Peaceful protests during the day were followed by rioting and civil unrest at night. Just before midnight on Aug. 25, tensions peaked when a 17-year-old named Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum. Moments later, Rittenhouse shot two other men, one fatally.

Rittenhouse was arrested and charged with multiple counts of homicide and weapons offenses, but right-wing groups have rallied to his cause, celebrating him as a hero who sought to protect Kenosha from destructive rioting and who fired in self-defense. The events have become a litmus test for a deeply divided nation.

The examination also reveals new details about Rosenbaum’s struggles with mental illness and includes the first on-camera interview with his fiancee, Kariann Swart. “I don’t think there’s any sort of self-defense when there’s an unarmed person in front of you, and you’re holding an assault rifle two feet away,” she said.

Much of Kenosha's deadly protest shooting was captured in social media videos. Here's what they show.
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, was charged in connection to shootings that killed two people and injured one in Kenosha on Tuesday during the third night of civil unrest in the city.

The nights of unrest were set off by the Sunday shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man, in the back by Kenosha police officer Rusten Sheskey. Blake is paralyzed from the waist down and is still hospitalized in Milwaukee.

Rittenhouse was taken into custody Wednesday in Illinois and is awaiting extradition to Wisconsin to face homicide charges in Kenosha County.

A person is shot in a car lot
The first gunshots occur shortly before midnight near 63rd Street and Sheridan Road, across from Froedtert South hospital.

A video filmed from across the street shows a man carrying a long gun, Rittenhouse, running into a car lot at 63rd and Sheridan.

Locator of Aug. 25 protest shooting events.
Rittenhouse is pursued by a man who tosses an object toward him that seems to be on fire; it misses. The two continue running toward a cluster of cars.

While they're running, an unknown gunman near the road fires a single shot into the air, according to another video taken from the car lot. The muzzle flash is visible in the edge of the frame, The New York Times found in its analysis of the footage.

Two or three seconds later, Rittenhouse stops and turns around, his back to a parked van. Four more shots ring out, and the person who was pursing him drops to the ground in front of him.

Rittenhouse runs around a car, and three more shots are heard. He returns to where the victim is lying. A bystander pulls his shirt off and attends to the victim, who appeared to have a head injury.

Rittenhouse puts a phone to his ear and starts heading north through the car lot toward Sheridan Road.

As he runs from the scene, people are heard screaming, "He shot him!"

Two more are shot in the street
Several other videos show Rittenhouse then heading north on Sheridan Road, chased by a handful of people. Some people shout "He shot him" or "That's the shooter."

As he is running, Rittenhouse trips and falls to the ground near 61st Street and Sheridan Road. A few people begin to run at him.

Rittenhouse ultimately fires four shots at three people who rush toward him.

The first jumps toward him and Rittenhouse, now half sitting up, fires twice but appears to miss. He falls backward and his legs come up, tangling with the person he's just shot at. The person falls, then gets up and runs away.

A second person runs up and is briefly on top of Rittenhouse and appears to hit him with a skateboard as he begins sitting up again. The person grabs Rittenhouse's gun, but he still has hold of it and fires, appearing to hit the person in the chest as they pull back.

Hey dumbfuck...the guy here admits himself that YES he was armed!

The guy with the skateboard tried to stop him from shooting more people. I can see what the kid was unhappy. He drove a long way to kill leftys.

He had a gun and pointed it at Rittenhouse,.....he then was shot in the arm.

All on video,... no getting out of it. He drew a pistol and was starting to point it at Rittenhouse. Now he has to jerk off with his other hand....

Watch the video you frikkin goofball. Its all right there. When rittenhouse is down after being hit by the skateboard he tries to pull Kyle's weapon away from him but fails. When Kyle jerks it back he looks down momentarily and thats when the asshole pulls a pistol out,...I THINK out of his waistband. He goes to point it at Kyle and BAM!! Gets his arm shot up, screams like a bitch for a medic, and a meme is made out of it. Hilarity ensues. He fucked around and found out.... Go look yourself,...right on vid,...no denying it liar.

Each shot will be analyzed. Most damning IMO is his firing into the crowd. All the prosecution has to do is prove Kyle murdered one of the three, not all three.

Additionally there's the intentional harm of firing into a crowd. "Reckless endangerment" IIRC. Kyle is going to be convicted on felony charges. The question remaining is which ones and the length of his sentence.

Next up will be the douchebags who set up a 17 year old kid with a weapon.

the standard that the jury will be instructed to use is 'reasonable', as in what would a reasonable person be reasonably feeling in that situation.....one of fearing for their life...........the ONLY reason at that point that a jury will convict is one of making an example of someone to the rest of the country to avoid any area where the new woke revolution decides to terrorize

All good. I'm dying with curiosity to see how it all turns out. I strongly doubt the judge or the jury will believe the wackadoodle "woke revolution decides to terrorize".

The complaint against Rittenhouse lists six charges:

  1. first-degree reckless homicide against Joseph Rosenbaum
  2. first-degree recklessly endangering safety against Richard McGinnis (a reporter who interviewed Rittenhouse before the shooting)
  3. first-degree intentional homicide against Anthony Huber
  4. attempted first-degree intentional homicide against Gaige Grosskreutz
  5. first-degree recklessly endangering safety against an unknown male victim
  6. possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18 (the only misdemeanor charge, the others are felonies)

Feds won't seek charges against cop in Jacob Blake shooting

State prosecutors decided not to file charges against Sheskey earlier this year after video showed that Blake, who was wanted on a felony warrant, was armed with a knife.

The U.S. Department of Justice launched its own investigation days after the shooting. The agency announced Friday that a team of prosecutors from its Civil Rights Division and the U.S. attorney’s office in Milwaukee reviewed police reports, witness statements, dispatch logs and videos of the incident, and determined there wasn’t enough evidence to prove Sheskey used excessive force or violated Blake’s federal rights.

“Accordingly, the review of this incident has been closed without a federal prosecution,” the Justice Department said in a news release.

No justification for the riots. Looks like antifa and BLM were in the wrong.
