Gov. Gavin Newsom has asked California’s legislature for $2.5 billion to respond to the wildfires in Southern California, money that would fund cleanup, recovery, disaster preparedness and the repair and reopening of schools. The proposal expands a special legislative session that the liberal-led state convened in November to fund litigation against the incoming Trump administration.

Michael Shellenberger says on Tucker that it is about 100.

It is time to STOP the blame game and start helping these people.
They know what happened and can do something now to fix it.
It is bad enough as it is that the price of building materials is going to go up because of supply and demand now Trump is going to put his tariffs on ( 25% or more ) driving those costs up even more.
Yep lets hurt these people even more.
And with insurance companies pulling out what are these people going to do?
They more then likely won't get what their homes were worth or the cost to rebuild them.
Congress has to get to work and start helping them.
