If you don't understand why this is dangerous, people with little or no experience will show up.

They will end up needing rescuing, putting more people in danger.

The Eaton Fire near Pasadena has grown to 400 acres, with aircraft grounded due to extreme winds, city spokesperson Lisa Derderian confirmed.

Evacuation orders are in place for 10 zones with an “immediate threat to life,” and warnings issued for 18 additional zones.

Structures are under threat, and shelters are being established for evacuees.

Please, this is not news. This is trivia. California has fires every year. California is the only place on earth that has a fire season.

Every year, when the California fires kick in, the rest of the world acts totally surprised. Next year, fires will kick in on cue and the world will once again act totally surprised.

California legislators have prohibited any and all measures to reduce dry brush, to perform controlled burns, and to eliminate unnecessary fuel that turns every California fire into a ginormous rager. They did all this so that they can have regular massive fires that destroy property and kill people ... so that they can blame Climate Change, and jack up taxes to pretend to solve Global Warming. Naturally, leftists consider the human deaths involved a wonderful bonus that help pad the numbers during years that don't see quite as many school shootings as they would have liked.

I get it. They were suffering last year as well, and the year before, and the year before, and the year before, etc ... You made the thread to "increase awareness" of the situation, good, but in this case, it's like raising awareness that Earth has a moon.
