LA is ablaze; š¯•¸ brings the world its news

Didn't read any of the posts here, so I'm wondering if anyone asked the question to the Lefties here,
were these fires a result of the left's screaming that the world is in dire need to tax us in order to fight
this disaster due to Climate change and or Global Warming? Would stopping cows from farting and
taking al gore and john kerry's jets away from them in order to stop the infiltration of carbon have
helped to stop and or save kalifornicator from this fire disaster?

As Angelenos start their Wednesday morning, there will be notable impacts to air quality with winds pushing smoke across the Los Angeles area. Please limit your exposure by remaining indoors with windows and doors closed and wearing a properly fit mask.

Where is Karen Bass? LA Mayor Returns From Ghana Trip as City Burns

Mayor Karen Bass has been criticized after it emerged she was out of the country, attending a presidential inauguration in Ghana, as northern and western suburbs of her city were hit by devastating wildfires fanned by high winds.

Media outlet INKL News reported this morning that Bass was on her way back to Los Angeles and should return to the city within hours.

Newsweek contacted Bass' office for comment on Wednesday via telephone and voicemail message outside of regular office hours.

Bass was elected in the 2022 Los Angeles mayoral election, defeating billionaire real estate developer Rick Caruso, a fellow Democrat, with 43.1 percent of the vote against 36 percent.

She has come under attack for not returning to the U.S. sooner in response to the infernos, with Caruso telling local network Fox 11 that there had been a "failure" of leadership and management adding that "everybody knew these winds were coming" so the risk should have been anticipated.

Caruso also questioned why brush in the hills surrounding Los Angeles hadn't been removed to reduce the fire risk and claimed a "reservoir was not refilled in time and in a timely manner to keep the hydrants going," which he blamed on city authorities.

Bass has provided a succession of updates via social media. At around 2:30 a.m. PST, on š¯•¸, she wrote: "Our LAFD and LAPDHQ Teams continue to work overnight to protect Angelenos affected:.

But @Walt says it's none of her business, or something.

Hundreds of @LAFD firefighters have been fighting fires through the night. Thank you to all the crews working tirelessly to respond and protect life and property.
Good for them, helping their neighbors.

I remember on 9/11, firefighters from all around the country came to help in NYC... But there were also some firefighters from red states who claimed they were going to go to NYC to help, but instead took weeks long vacations. That was disgusting.
