Umm I am retired anytime I want, about 750K, a small farm and no debts :)
and making $75/hr when I want to work.
How you doing college boy ?

I did live in a trailer for about a year 20 years or so ago, bowling, hmm not done that in a while, but it is fun if with a good bunch of friends.

Not a defeatist a realist that can adjust.
I was working before computers existed for any except military giganto clunkers. I am on the bleeding edge of tech, a release manager for some of the largest UNIX Client Server apps in existance.
Umm I guess my net worth is over 1 mill if you include my farm, equipment and such....
and I expect to grow about 200-300k per year. A conservative estimate.

I recall you saying you were retiring when you hit one million ?

I like reading Toppers posts. They're a close enough approximation of the English language to generally follow. Sometimes, its more fun than a barrel of monkeys to read topper

The US government is on a ‘burning platform’ of unsustainable policies and practices with fiscal deficits, chronic healthcare underfunding, immigration and overseas military commitments threatening a crisis if action is not taken soon, the country’s top government inspector has warned.

David Walker, comptroller general of the US, issued the unusually downbeat assessment of his country’s future in a report that lays out what he called “chilling long-term simulations”.

These include “dramatic” tax rises, slashed government services and the large-scale dumping by foreign governments of holdings of US debt.

Drawing parallels with the end of the Roman empire, Mr Walker warned there were “striking similarities” between America’s current situation and the factors that brought down Rome, including “declining moral values and political civility at home, an over-confident and over-extended military in foreign lands and fiscal irresponsibility by the central government”.

“Sound familiar?” Mr Walker said.

The US is nowhere near as powerful as Rome was in it's time, and I've heard so many "decline of Rome" warnings it really makes me want to puke.
