Let them hate, so long as they fear ... the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets

Pity Salty Walty, his information's faulty.

President Donald Trump did not shut down the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.

However, the library's management did choose to close temporarily on February 18, 2025, blaming their decision on an executive order from Trump that led to the sudden dismissal of several federal employees.

The JFK Library Foundation stated that this "reduction in force" forced the closure, with a sign on the library’s door reading, “Due to an Executive Order concerning a ‘reduction in force (RIF),’ the JFK Library and Museum will be closed to the public until further notice.”

The layoffs were part of a broader initiative to reduce the federal workforce, spearheaded by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The closure lasted less than 24 hours.

The National Archives, which oversees the presidential library system, announced that the JFK Library reopened on February 19, 2025, with its staff welcoming visitors as scheduled.

The layoff affected five probationary employees—those with less than a year of service.

Critics, including some members of the Kennedy family and Massachusetts politicians, condemned the move, arguing it disrupted a vital cultural institution without clear justification.

However, the library resumed operations quickly, and there’s no evidence of a permanent shutdown as of February 20, 2025. Claims on platforms like JustPlainPolitics. com suggesting a closure "by Trump" exaggerate the situation, as the library is now open again.

@Grok

Is it shut down right now?
How are you missing this? You go on and on about things that trump is not actually getting done, and somehow miss the things he actually does.

trump made an executive order firing the staff of the JFK Presidential Library, and therefore closing it. They are trying to figure out a way to reopen it, but trump is also working hard to keep it closed.

trump really hates JFK for being a much more loved President than trump will ever be. trump also took over the Kennedy Center, and is trying to change its name to the trump center.

I'm still waiting for you to explain what the self-imposed closure of a library has to do with the Task Force. I doubt that you can.

No, he didn't.

They are trying to figure out a way to reopen it, but trump is also working hard to keep it closed.

No, they aren't because it's open now, and there's no evidence that "Trump is working hard to keep it closed".

So you say, Salty Walty. Your opinions are amusing, but worthless.

trump gave the executive order firing the staff of the JFK Presidential Library and also signed the executive order creating the "special task force to try to make JFK look bad for having better hair than trump."

Is this hatred deeper than just hair envy? They never met, nor would they have had personal issues. There is no overlap in their eras(yes, there is overlap in their lifespans, but not when they were important).

When I have nightmares, they usually involve someone who resembles your mother.

Wow.

JFK has been dead for 60+ years. It is time to stop trying to blame him for the recent firing of the JFK Presidential Library staff.

Nobody has blamed JFK for anything.
