trump has fired a major chunk of the JFK Presidential Library, which closes the biggest source on the JFK Administration, and the JFK assassination. trump says that there are secret files that will amaze us about the JFK assassination, but he also said he would release proof that Obama was not born in Hawaii over a decade ago. trump is known as a liar. If a file was released, it would have to be checked against the files in the JFK Presidential Library to make sure it was real. And trump just shutdown that check.
If you were a conspiracy theorist, you would think trump is actively covering up stuff, while lying and saying he was going to be releasing things.
I am not that severe. trump is going to release some accusations that JFK had an affair or something. It will not matter that they were just accusations, and not actual evidence. And he will claim that JFK has been tarnished, so all attention should be on trump.

There were four of them at the JFK library, and the library's management closed it - for political reasons, I suppose - for 24 hours.
Yeah, but they won't listen to that. It's more fun to listen to some family member crying about how "nobody can see it now"... while forgetting that they certainly can tomorrow...

As I said, polls show that 70% of Americans believe that Trump is doing what he said he would, agree or not they know he's doing what he said he would do. This means that on this board there are folks that know he's doing what he said he would but are deliberately lying to you because their political party told them to. That's sad. Screw that.

trump is known to lie about what he will release. he still has not released his tax returns. We could go on and on.
No, we will have what he choses to release. So we will have accusations against JFK, but none of the supporting evidence, or probably who even made the accusation. We will not know what the investigation found about the accusation. We will just have an accusation against JFK.
And it will be harder to even do our own investigation.

Why were all the other Presidential Libraries exempted? Why only the JFK Presidential Library?
Will trump prosecute the staff of the JFK Presidential Library now that their files are under the control, The Task Force on finding nasty accusations against JFK? Remember that trump signed an executive order taking away control over their documents.
Isn't it odd that trump is putting so much effort into attacking JFK on three different issues.
Yeah, except there is no one being paid there at the moment, so it is not just four employees.
Most importantly, they do not even have a lawyer to read over the executive order seizing all their documents. They may actually go to prison over this, even while they are not being paid.
Once again, it is Congress that decides whether the JFK Library gets funding, NOT trump. The Constitution says so. trump is not allowed to just cut off funding unilaterally.

The Federal Register is the official journal of the U.S. government and publishes Executive Orders shortly after they are signed. Search for entries from February 2025, under President Trump’s name. The order may be cataloged with a title related to federal workforce restructuring or reductions in force. Given the timing, it should be available by now.
