Let's stop pretending we don't know why most GOP Senators didn't vote to convict Trum

The Republican Party has become the party of fucking morons who are willing to trash America, its institutions, and its Constitution in order to appease the hatred they have for the world...and apparently for their personal circumstances in it.

We can only hope that they get past whatever bug they have up their collective asses...and finally see the damage they are doing to the Republic.

These morons actually think it is the Democratic Party and liberal-minded people who are screwing-up this country.

Wake the fuck up, Conservatives. YOU are doing the majority of the damage...not the people you rail against.

No, you’re just stupid and bitter. Go die alone while your GF meets other guys in your car. LOL

The fact remains that by his own admission, and subsequent disappearance, STY is a RW terrorist. AHZ knows him on sight and is a witness to STY’s ideology and plans. Either AHZ is complicit in the terrorist group or he’s a liability as a witness. If you had a clue and used your head instead of that emotional hot mess you are going through feeling sorry for yourself, maybe you’d have been following this the past few months.

Search SmarterThanYou and Collateral Damage if you want to catch up. Do nothing but bitch and moan about shit you know nothing about if you want to stay smugly stupid.

You are truly a disgusting human being. why not leave people not involved in these forums out of it.

  • GOP senators have a bunch of nonsense reasons for why they didn't convict Donald Trump of incitement.
  • They are all just an attempt to cover up the real reasons, which are much simpler and more obvious.
  • Many GOP Senators were complicit in Trump's crime. Plus, they want to use him to keep grifting.
  • This is an opinion column. The thoughts expressed are those of the author.

Republican senators have concocted a litany of silly, irrelevant reasons for why they didn't vote to convict former President Donald Trump of fomenting an insurrection on January 6.
They said his impeachment was not constitutional (an argument even conservative lawyers shredded) or a violation of his First Amendment rights (also, no). They said Trump deserves a "mulligan" (which is just stupid, juvenile, and an affront to the rule of law). And they said convicting him is pointless (which ignores the fact that a conviction could have barred Trump from office).

No need to pretend .... they aren't retarded like you pig fucking leftist cunts.

Maybe the reason(s) is obvious:

The Jan 6 capitol riot wasn't an insurrection but a civil disturbance (aka riot).
It was planned in advance of that date and Trump wasn't involved in that planning.
Trump's speech was typical political rhetoric as shown by numerous other politicians in both parties regularly using it.

Of course, we could toss in that the Left is fricking insane and should never be coddled, but....

Could you provide some examples of how Conservatives "are doing the majority of the damage...?" Thanks in advance.

Dude, an insurrection is a civil disturbance. In this case a civil disturbance egged on by a nutjob President to overturn an election.

The jury is still out on how much of the coordination for the insurrection took place between the militias, the Qless and the White House.

Maybe Trump wasn’t directly tied to the planning, but I have no doubt Miller, and possibly Junior, were in ass deep.

Regardless, Trump would have been briefed “the plan was on”. His speech and the other speakers on the platform that day knew exactly what to say for maximum effect.

Once the leaders of the militias are rounded up and charged with domestic terrorism, they’ll start to spill everything they know since Trump betrayed them.....that’s if they don’t seek to discuss the matter with Trump himself. LOL

you're not better than me.

I acknowledge that you are a better raper of old women, murderer and robber than me since I’ve never done any of those things. You’ve already confessed to rape.

Will you confess to terrorism too?.....or do you call it “freedom fighting”?

I call it not being an internationalist fascist hater of humanity. it's clunky.

COWARDS, nary a ball amongst them....

trump does what he wants w/ them, because he is a star, even grab them by the pussy, & they don't stop him.........

EVERYTHING Trump did...was injurious to our Republic...and the (CMA) conservative morons of America have defended and encouraged Trump. THAT is the damage truly impacting on our Republic presently.

Thanks in advance.

You are quite welcome. TA.

LOL! You, calling me stupid. You're a loser in every respect.

Yep. I did notice STY disappeared. He's done that before. If you'd been here long enough, you'd know.

Most of the 'not guilty' votes were political calculations caving to Trump populism. Every 'not guilty' voter knew those votes were being made public.

The trial would have resulted in a conviction if it were a secret vote, and the Senators never had to worry about anyone finding out how they voted.
