In this case, I asked for specific concrete examples. I got none in return. That is by definition "nothing." So I was being accurate in my answer. Trump was impeached while in office, though. The trial was the result of the impeachment.

A trial can definitely happen after the president's term has ended. Otherwise, a president only has to wait until the final days of his term to commit an impeachable offense if he doesn't want to face the consequences of his actions.
