Which is cool. And is the reason I use Ethnicity rather than "race". There is only one human race and Ethnicity is a social construct.

Actually, I understand that we all arose from a single region in Africa. "The Journey of Man", Spencer Wells. The mitochondrial experiment/tracking is just now underway; his findings arose from work using Y chromosome data from men in all regions of the world. Absolutely fascinating.
 
Blackascoal's diatribe contains some truth but he is as guilty as those he accuses. If you say you are Black what does that mean? If you say you are white does it have different meaning? Notice no one except racists bring attention to their skin tone. Then he sees everything whites do as racist and he even interprets events for them. I wonder who the racist is.

In all fairness, Dano changes everyone's SN to something similar that he can get a little jab in with. I think it's pretty lame, but he just did the same thing to bac as he does to everyone else. Had his SN been 'Darkascoal' he would have called him 'Darkassdolt'. He's just using the SN....

I'm not trying to get all Damoesque on you now, but I hate when people pull the race card out and start accusing people of it. My father was accused of being racist when he refused to give some guy who claimed his car broke down my lunch money for the week so he can get some gas. I just think the card gets pulled to easily.

I have to disagree. White people don't make attention to their race because the KKK fucked that up for us. Latino's are very very vocal and proud about their race. They aren't racist just because they have pride to be from a certain culture or race..

I didn't call him a racist because he changed my SN, I said it was silly.

Absolutely true, and its the greatest human adventure in our existence.

Orgins can be tracked to a single region in Africa, but distinctive characteristics began to develop as humans spread out over the continent.

Fascinating study.

No, I know you didn't call him that, Darla was implying it with her response to him. That he made it clear he was a racist by the lame SN change that he does to everyone.

He was complaining that someone called him a racist, or implied that he was one. I have no idea if someone did or not. However, I thought that changing someone's name to "blackassdolt" after crying about being called a racist, was a very interesting and stupid way of disputing the charge. In fact, if one had the impression Dano was a racist, that only reinforces it.

I haven't changed my mind.
