Liberal MTV audience cheers Chris Pratt's speech PRAISING CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY

Good morning to you (and still swimming, as a matter of fact)....If I see guano, I'll give him an invite and include a link....same for kudzu...
You can see that my "invitation" already worked;)
Not hateful, yet you refer to him as guano. I guess it was a typo on your part.

I do not get the impression she is religious, interesting.

Me neither. She knows a huge amount about the history of religious beliefs of many flavors, and is intensely interested and well-read especially when it comes to the Abrahamic faiths, as well as the history of the Mideast. However, she doesn't espouse one over the others nor does she seem to be a zealot.

She posted stuff about 'the Scofield Bible' and 'Zionism' and seems very adamant about REAL Christianity and the Evangelical kind. I view that as Cult vs. Cult, so don't read much pass the first sentence or two.

I did not get the impression she is a Christian. I will have discussions on the Bible and I am not a Christian, perhaps she will clarify.

hahahaha ... she says she is an Episcopalian, a WASP in fact.
I accuse her of being a Saudi spokesperson, and a WASP ... Wahhabi, Arab, Salafi, Person. :)

Ok, back to the OP...What did you like best or least about Chris Pratt's message? The MTV audience loved it...did you?
(I deleted two posts yesterday...when can I look forward to seeing them again?)

Jack, you must have interesting relationships if you consider everyone who belongs to a religion a cultist.

I missed that exchange.

hahahaha ... she's a Master at deception, confusion, and DoubleSpeak when it comes to KSA. I have the impression her Dad worked for ARAMCO and she grew up on one of the Compounds there. Either that, or she's a 'royal' princess, collecting a stipend and NOT of the Salman Clan, forced to live out her existence in exile, here in the US. :)

Chris's 9 rules ...

No. 1 – Breathe. If you don’t, you’ll suffocate.

No. 2 – You have a soul. Be careful with it

No. 3 – Don’t be a turd. If you are strong be a protector, and if your smart be a humble influencer. Strength and intelligence can be weapons and do not wield them against the week. That makes you a bully. Be bigger than that.

No. 4 – When giving a dog medicine, put the medicine in a little piece of hamburger, they won’t even know they’re eating medicine.

No. 5 – Doesn’t matter what it is, earn it. A good deed, reach out to someone in pain, be of service, it feels good and it’s good for your soul.

No. 6 – God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that. I do.

No. 7. If you have to poop at a party, but you’re embarrassed because you’re going to stink up the bathroom, do what I do, lock the door. Sit down, get all the pee out first. Then once all the pee is done, poop, flush, boom! You minimize the amount of time that the poop is touching the air. Cause if you poop first, it takes you longer to pee and then you’re peeing on top of it stirring it up, the poop particles create a cloud, it goes out and then everyone at the party will know that you pooped. Just trust me it’s science.

No. 8 – Learn to pray. It’s easy and it’s so good for your soul.

No. 9 – Nobody is perfect. People are going to tell you, ‘you’re perfect just the way you are.’ You’re not. You are imperfect. You always will be, but there is a powerful force that designed you that way. And if you’re willing to accept that, you will have grace. And grace is a gift. And like the freedom that we enjoy in this country, that grace was paid for by somebody else’s blood. Do not forget it. Don’t take if for granted. God bless you.”

Awesome, right? That's why I bumped this thread...I want to see who can disagree or be against any of the above...and if so, why?

I don't think there are many Christians about, and in most countries they are socialist rather than 'religious'. Given the special conditions of America I suppose some of the few count as 'liberal'. The only thing we can say for sure is that Conservatives are never Christian. They worship Mammon.

Another twit chimes in...
