I would like to agree with you. But, it is right-wingers who are the most shameless about bearing false-witness to our own Constitutional Laws even with a McCarthy era phrase in our pledge.

Yeah, and they put God on our money. That is just so ridiculous. It's like they equate wealth with godliness.

They are fairly well obsessed with wealth. But I guess they couldn't bring themselves to go so far as to put "In Wealth We Trust" on the money.

Sadly the defense Ukraine put up has forced Putin to escalate and continue to do more escalation. Losing is not an option for him. His power over Russia might disappear if he has to go home with nothing. The Russian people do not hate Ukraine. When they see what he has done to neighboring countries he will not be forgiven.

He does not have his people buffaloed, but he has them scared.
