My system doesn't just reject potatoes... Those things can kill me... If it makes my lips and gums swell it can make my throat swell on a different day... That's a nope.
Bro, I'd gladly give up potatoes if I could eat a ribeye once in a while. I have to shop for fat free beef and use it sparingly.

Does Grok reply to post? How does AI work on JPP?

The almost five decade war on eating fat was mostly idiotic. As for the claim that seed oils are for machines not eating I tend to doubt it.

The only thing Gibsons sells is "grass fed", which is also grass finished....that is not very good eating.

I was using it for pepper steak so I did not care.

The poor trimming and price?

Different Story.

Generally the only thing I use Gibsons for is birthday steaks for the hounds, in this case I went for easy (last minute)....and paid for it.

Health. But $20 a pound is something I expect to pay for Kobe or Wagyu.
The GF and I went out for lunch today to a small restaurant "out in the sticks."
I had roast beef & filling, she had filled chicken breast.
My roast beef had zero fat and a generous portion.
Her chicken breast was so big, she brought half of it home.
Both meals, including the apple bread was excellent!
The bill, including a generous tip, was $40. All is good.

I just the other day paid 9/lb for rather poorly trimmed no grade top sirloin....I was not pleased.
I like eating healthy but I still get cravings for ribeye. There are oils that mess with me too but I don't know if they're seed oils. I can't take the chance of ordering a salad at a pub.

The Little Woman has Crohns so I likely have some idea what you are talking about.

Sticks restaurants are hit or miss. Once I find a good one I become a regular. They treat me like family and remember what I like.

I was born in a neighborhood where Crohn's was common. I blame the water but who knows. Government has countless ways to poison us. Covid being the latest.

Most around here are pretty good.
Lots of farmers and older people frequent this place and are very friendly.
Waitresses are easy on the eyes and food is always good.
We were going to stop at another place, but it was closed because one of the
workers there died from cancer. They closed so the remaining workers could
attend her services. A nice gesture IMHO. I'm good with it.

As a kid we all had nose bleeds. We were being poisoned. It's what got me started on politics.
The abuse of my wife and my family in the Debacle in Iraq really turned me....it just keeps getting worse as I learn more.

I am most certainly an enemy of the Imperial Empire now.

Dems don't get rural America. I lived in towns that fought to keep corporate out. Our money stays local instead of being funneled to Wall Street.

I can't watch Ritter anymore. He keeps saying empire won. Scott doesn't realize how bad our economy is.
