I've mentioned it before to another mod that when the whole display under "What's New" is filled with threads started by the same loser whoring for attention, I lose interest in the forum. I'll take him off ignore and send you a screenshot the next time it happens. As the OP pointed out, I'm not the only one annoyed by the loser trying to dominate the forum and push other threads off the "What's New" page in favor of his own.
