I did not say you were being dishonest, and I want the economy to get better, and I belive that by early next year it will start getting better. I know it takes a little time to turn something this big around.

You still refuse to accept reality. There is nothing misleading is pointing out obvious facts. The President himself will not deny that we are in an economic disaster, and the jobless claims are not partisan, its just basic factual data. Unemployment has risen under this president, it is continuing to rise.
The economy is still in shambles, it is continuing to slide down.
Are all of you confused about the current status of reality? Do you not understand why liberals in congress are starting the plant the idea of ANOTHER stimulus? Are you confused about the philosophical approach to addressing the current situation, REGARDLESS of who is to blame for it ACTIONS ARE BEING TAKEN RIGHT NOW... that will have consequences.
Im not asking the dumbass's whether or not they believe its Bush's fault or Obama's fault, thats the default position if youre a dumbass... that no matter what anyone does the only person responsible for anything is Bush. I already understand that if youre a dumbass, that will be your position. I nor anyone else is interested in reading the diatribes on Bush. Im asking about what the liberals think about whats being done NOW!!
Theres nothing misleading about it, there is no hidden agenda, .... there is no gotcha on the other side. I just wanted to know what liberals thought about the current track we're on.
Its okay to answer that question. Its okay to live in reality. Theres nothing wrong with just saying "yes, im pleased, I wanted it this way and I like it".. just as Onceler did.

Okay, I am pleased with the action taken thus far and I belive the economy has begun responding and will continue to do so. It takes a long time to fix what a mess of an economy President Obama took over in January, I belive he has done as good a job as anyone could have done. For someone who voted for Bush twice to even start to critize the efforts made by President Obama at this point is what I call silly.
Two years into Regans first term unemployment was 11%!

Nobody is asking why Obama hasnt fixed all the problems.
If you would just stop being so defensive you would understand what the question is really asking.
I guess you need to compartmentalize a little bit.
Is it true that President Obama and the Democratic Congress have passed legislation and approved spending bills to address the current economic crisis? If you believe that they have (which is just reality), then there are observable actions that you can point too as tangible efforts taken. This is just a fact.
Those actions will have effects. As a conservative there are some actions that I do not disagree with. There are some aspects that I do disagree with. To me this is an all or nothing gamble that most likely will do more damage than help. Im not blaming him for the current situation, I do however believe that the actions taken thus far were mainly political and will have dramatic consequences down the line.
I have spoken to other liberals who are also a bit disillusioned with the actions that have taken place in the last 6 months.
I simply asked for liberal input on what LIBERALS thought about the actions taken so far... and Ive been able to get a few intelligent responses. Most everything else has been about Bush, and about Reagan, and other nonsense that isnt relevant at all.
As i said before, some of you are just dumbass's. You cant help it. Someone asks you for your input and your immediate response is "Bush". Thats fine, I understand that some of you are incapable of intelligent discussion. There isnt anything you can do about it. I understand that some of you are so sheepish that any question about anything is seen as an attack on your beloved Obama, thus sparking retorts and excuses about everything that isnt going well. Again.. I understand that some of you actually believe that some politicians are above reproach and the thought of disagreeing or questioning your leaders is entirely unacceptable.
However, it actually is okay to just answer the question. Maybe youre not pleased with how things are going, maybe your ecstatic... thats what im looking for, just some liberal input.
