Looks like another school shooting.....

Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes told reporters Monday night that the shooting was reported to police by a second grader who called 911.

"Let that soak in for a minute," Barnes said. "A second grade student called 911 at 10:57 a.m. to report a shooting at school."
Guano, the person who should have called this in should have been the armed School Resource Officer who stopped the perp as he/she/alphabet passed through the metal detector at the entrance to the school.

Think about it for a second. If you are over the age of 50 you know what I'm about to say.

When we were in elementary school NONE of us had to do "active shooter drills". NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would have said we need to arm teachers. NO ONE taught little kids to phone 911 to report gun fire at school. NONE OF THIS STUFF IS NORMAL.

NOT ONE ASPECT OF THIS ENTIRE CLUSTERFUCK OF A STORY IS NORMAL.

And it's a story we are getting SO USED TO.

Given that we KNOW that mental illness is constant across almost ALL developed societies. And we KNOW that there is no more or less likelihood of "evil" people being around, what's the BIGGEST DIFFERENCE?

All schools in most places on earth are gun free zones. Just no reason to have a gun at school yet they almost NEVER have happen what we have happen WEEKLY in this country.

THE BIGGEST AND REALLY ONLY DIFFERENCE IS: THEY HAVE MORE GUN RESTRICTIONS AND FEWER GUNS.

So, yeah, the problem IS THE GUN.

We've tried it your way: thotz n prayerz. Can we now try ANOTHER way?

Your response will tell us whether guns are more important than children to this nation. Choose carefully.

That kid has good parents.

Correct. The fact you excluded was, that we were allowed to bring guns to school for show and tell and hunt pheasants with it on the drive home. I could buy a gun through the mail with Zero checks of any kind.
NOT ONE ASPECT OF THIS ENTIRE CLUSTERFUCK OF A STORY IS NORMAL.
Correct. The shooter had obvious signs of mental instability. The question I would ask is,
was this kid on any meds.?
After exhibiting an inordinate interest in the Columbine shooting and wearing the tee shirts of a Russian rock band that honored school shooters, why did her parents buy her a pistol?
Why did she have a visceral hatred of men?
And it's a story we are getting SO USED TO.

Parenting or the lack thereof. Social responsibility and the lack thereof.
All schools in most places on earth are gun free zones. Just no reason to have a gun at school yet they almost NEVER have happen what we have happen WEEKLY in this country.
Many schools around the world have hardened their entrances and exits and metal detection is common. Israel comes to mind, zero shootings.
THE BIGGEST AND REALLY ONLY DIFFERENCE IS: THEY HAVE MORE GUN RESTRICTIONS AND FEWER GUNS.
Guns don't kill people. People who pull the trigger kill people.
So, yeah, the problem IS THE GUN.

No.
We've tried it your way: thotz n prayerz. Can we now try ANOTHER way?
How have you tried?

Your response will tell us whether guns are more important than children to this nation. Choose carefully.
Children are far more important so why are you against making schools safer?

Choose carefully.

This is the new Normal. America LOVES GUNS MORE THAN THEIR OWN CHILDREN.

That's it. That's America 100%

It is who we are now.
Fuck off. Stop blaming inanimate objects for people's actions.
And when children get in the way of our precious guns then the gun will ALWAYS win. ALWAYS. We don't even WANT to stop the slaughter.
Stop pretending to care about children when you condone them getting killed before they even make it out of their mother's womb.
As a nation we LOVE THIS SORT OF THING. IT IS WHAT WE ARE NOW.

I hope we are happy.
I'm just thrilled that those children made it as long as they did. If Democrats got their way, then those children would've been dead before they were even born.

So you are voting FOR more school shootings. Got it.

Not really. I grew up in rural smalltown Illinois. I don't recall ONE INSTANCE of ANYONE ever bringing a gun to school. Not once.

I owned a .410 before I could drive. If I told my dad one day I'd like to take my gun to school I'm pretty sure my butt would still be hurting 45 years later.

Oh give it up! The meds aren't the problem. You guys relying on sick people as a COVER for your favorite show of non-stop gun violence in the US is sickening.

You don't care ONE WHIT about mental illness except that it might save your precious gun from being seized if you can make people think that's the problem.

THESE MEDS ARE USED ALL OVER THE WORLD. YET WE ARE THE ONLY ONE WITH WEEKLY MASS SHOOTINGS.

Parenting or the lack thereof. Social responsibility and the lack thereof.

So you want to talk about the "soft skills" the difficult to quantify "parenting". How about focusing on you and your fellow ammosexuals turning guns into a national FETISH?

Shall we?

Guns don't kill people. People who pull the trigger kill people.

Guns also don't appear out of nowhere. If you load a country up to the point that there are MORE GUNS THAN PEOPLE it becomes VERY hard to control where those guns wind up.

I get it! You love guns. A lot. And a few kids dead here or there shouldn't stand in the way of you enjoying your guns even more.

Just don't masturbate too hard when the next school shooting hits the news.

Medication is not a problem? Maybe RFK will help.

I give thought to your mental illness.

What meds? Be specific.

Parenting is a problem.
As far as ammosexuals, the only time one can carry too much ammo is,
You are on fire or trying to swim across a river.
Shall we?

This part you have absolutely correct. But guns have been around since the very founding of this country, so the problem very clearly isn't the guns themselves.
Given that we KNOW that mental illness is constant across almost ALL developed societies.
Is it actually?
And we KNOW that there is no more or less likelihood of "evil" people being around,
Is that so?
what's the BIGGEST DIFFERENCE?
Well, it needs to be something that's changed in the last few decades (when there's been an increased prevalence of shootings at schools).
All schools in most places on earth are gun free zones.
That's not true.

But yes, many schools DO happen to be "gun free zones". BTW, "gun free zones" are a change that's happened within the last few decades.
Just no reason to have a gun at school
Sure there is. And you seem to forget that it used to be commonplace to have guns at schools. Now, it's almost-always only a mentally ill and suicidal person who has a gun at a school.
yet they almost NEVER have happen what we have happen WEEKLY in this country.

No, it's not. It's the person misusing the gun that's the problem.

Funny that you aren't advocating for more car restrictions and fewer cars because inattentive and/or angry drivers "cars" cause people to die.
We've tried it your way: thotz n prayerz. Can we now try ANOTHER way?
We've tried it your way: gun-free-zone signage (aka 'defenselessness zones'). Can we now try ANOTHER way?
Your response will tell us whether guns are more important than children to this nation. Choose carefully.
Under your logic, you think that cars are more important than children to this nation. You think that swimming at beaches is more important than children... knives are more important than children... tractors are more important than children... medicine is more important than children... cleaning products are more important than children... and on and on and on...

You are being ridiculous.

You know, gfm, I've seen enough of your pointless posts and realize you almost NEVER seem to know what you are talking about or have anything useful to add to the conversation.

I don't even find your "reasoning" interesting even from a pathological point of view.
