There were many organizations at the rallies ready to provide that opportunity on Saturday. That could add thousands of people to the voter rolls.
HeadCount, a nonpartisan organization that registers young voters at concerts, partnered with the students behind March for Our Lives and sent close to 1,000 volunteers to register marchers at Saturday’s crowd in Washington, which numbered 800,000 people, according to organizers.

Wouldn't you expect those marching to know why they were marching?

It certainly was obvious that the many of kids were confused about why they were actually there. And what might actually happen as a result of these marches.
It's no wonder...too many mixed messages being thrown around..
They were out getting sunshine and exercise, though... and that's never a bad thing...

The core message is we dont want to die
When have we ever not wanted our families, schools, communities and country to be safe? That's nothing new. Tweaking a couple of gun laws on the books and screaming at the NRA is not going to make a safer place. As long as the "marchers" understand that, but it's not clear that they do, then they can march every weekend if they want. The real work will be done by those who sit down and work together to try to figure out to but down the killings to begin with..
The Parkland tragedy, for sure, could have and should have, been prevented.

And it was on a Saturday so that bs about just wanting to get out of class was proven to be exactly that...bs.

"It certainly was obvious that the many of kids were confused..."

So did you personally speak to "many" of the kids from the hundreds of thousands marching across America to come to that conclusion or did Fox News present a few confused kids as "evidence"?

Considering some of the reasons some Americans voted for Trump then we can state emphatically that many adult voters are confused as well when it comes to political options/discourse so even if some students are confused, it's not unique to them.

lol...that's when the March for Women planned it...the one on the 14th was just to get out of class.

I listened to some very confused children and adults speak yesterday. I know the kids around here are confused.
I missed Hunter Pollack (brother of Meadow Pollack, who was tragically killed at Parkland) speaking at the march. Where was he, and the others who desperately want real change to happen and understand that gun laws and bashing the NRA aren't going to make the changes we need?
I never said their confusion was "unique", btw.

The way YOU just "know" things makes you sound like a pompous jackass.

Even if it was "just to get out of class", that also is not unique to students who often take every opportunity to get out of class. How is this different? If you are going to call them out for this then call them out for every instance like for sports, clubs, religion etc. Adults will often find excuses to get out of work as well. Setting poor examples don't you think?

Almost every city that marched yesterday had tables set to register voters. This could add 10's of thousands of new voters come November.

You tend to provide answers to questions that were't asked. Now, can you answer the one I asked or are you going to divert again, BOY?

Just because they are confused about what they want to express doesn't mean their passion for change isn't real. Not everyone is an articulate speaker. For an example look at our current Man Child in the White House who can't express a coherent thought no matter how short the sentence.

But for sure, your kind will do everything possible to keep them and others from voting. Its all because you "love" the constitution so much.

The core message is we dont want to die

How many of them drive? Do you know that over 40,000 people died in accidents involving motor vehicles in 2016? If that was truly their message, they'd quit driving as they have a greater chance of dying in a motor vehicle than by a gun.

But for sure, your kind will do everything possible to keep them and others from voting. Its all because you "love" the constitution so much.

I didn't think you had the guts to answer it. Just like every other left wing coward on this forum. Run your mouth, hide when expected to actually do something.

Can you answer, NIGGER?

I have no problem with them expression their passions and emotions, but that doesn't equal up to the truth of what the situation is. Kids understandably have a lot of questions and concerns, and we should answer them honestly.

Passion for change you don't understand is a good thing? Thanks for proving the kids are being used by the adult gun haters.

The BOY child left in January, 2017.

Kids and Adults should not be finding excuses to get out of work or school. I would call out anyone who did so.
Sporting events and clubs are generally not scheduled during school time, but if they are they are school functions and must be approved by the school and parents. I have no problem if the kids have to leave half a day to go to play in a tournament.
I am kind of familiar with what goes on at school...are you?
