I dispute your false argument and strawman premise that anyone is claiming that masks "prevent" the spread of virus.

The contention and position of proponents of mask wearing, is that it greatly slows down and reduces the spread.

Yes, Corona is very small. But it travels on droplets which are bigger than mask pores. That is why they work. It has been proven.

No. But most are. That is why masks are not a cure but a preventative. Where they are used assiduously, they cut way down on Corona. The stats make that clear. Is this where I call you a name to prove my point?

No they aren't. This is an airborne virus. It is all over in the air... A mask does not stop it from entering one's body. A mask is not a cure nor is it prevention. It is hypochondria and fear mongering.

Even using the best of the best masks (and even assuming that they somehow can "stop a virus") would require perfect fitting and a strict adherence to maintaining that fitting. Guess what, that doesn't happen in the real world during the course of an 8 hour work day... People need to eat... People need to drink... People need to BREATHE... People yawn... During those moments, the "perfect fitting" is not being adhered to. Once that is broken even for a SECOND, the whole "filtration norm" of the mask becomes completely irrelevant.

But all of that is if a fantasy world existed. In the real world, a virus is smaller than a mask pore. Masks do not stop viruses.
