Then perhaps you should just post a comment rather than quoting one message?

LOL - another keen insight into the deluded world of a Trump supporter.
I'm sure you guys see the Obama years as a string of headlines stating "Obama saves the day!!!" As cawacko said, the headlines & stories I have seen have been mainly about the heroic efforts to save people and rescue them.
You're really far gone. I've seen stories about the federal assistance & about Trump visiting there tomorrow, but the ratings are going to come from the rescue stories. Sorry - that's how most news decisions are made. You wouldn't be satisfied until you saw a "Forget those silly hero stories...Trump is awesome!!!"
I knew you couldn't come up with a positive headline lol.
I knew you couldn't come up with a positive headline lol.
Considering this is still ongoing with more rain/floods coming what headlines are you hoping/expecting to see?
Not sure your point but I do recall seeing a guy in Texas who said they didn't evacuate because of the high risk of tornadoes combined with clogged roadways, so they would rather ride out the hurricane than risk being on a highway when a twister came through.
Just more talk people who loose it all will act differentlyNot sure your point but I do recall seeing a guy in Texas who said they didn't evacuate because of the high risk of tornadoes combined with clogged roadways, so they would rather ride out the hurricane than risk being on a highway when a twister came through.
What a dumb comment. There were over 1800 fatalities in Katrina vs. five in Harvey, to this point. Of course Katrina got more coverage.
o rilly?
Just more talk people who loose it all will act differently
& take some personal responsibility if they have a problem again some one says I'am in flood zone I'am going for high ground . MORE LAME EXCUCES TAKE RESPONSABILITY
IS ALL BADDD.

Yes really.
Basically, my point is the media hasn't found anything with the storm to beat Trump over the head with. I don't have an issue with the general coverage, per se, and I didn't sign onto the OP's white angle.
But so far, Trump's response has been more than adequate. He has good FEMA people in place and was Johnny on the Spot with the release of federal disaster funds.
I would think that would be worth AT LEAST ONE positive headline out of the MSM.
I also pointed out that the only government failure has been on the local level, where the mayor failed to call for an evacuation of Houston. It's amazing no one has died as a result.
I haven't seen a single headline about that in the national media. Of course, the mayor is a democrat, so yeah.
wasnt harvey billed as the worst storm evar for texas?
Since we are coming with a death toll of 5 vs 1800 does this mean it was handled well?
It was a good post.
Maybe someday you'll make one.
i posted proof that democrat sylvester the tweety bird told folkz NOT 2 evacuate
where iz yer proof?
Proof that I saw someone on TV saying the reason they chose not to evacuate was congestion and tornadoes is in a time machine somewhere. I didn't mention anything about whoever the hell you are rambling on about.
A paragraph from a Journal editorial:
The government—federal, state and local—seemed to be responding well under the conditions, at least to the extent one can tell from afar. The blame-shifting between state and federal officials that sometimes attends disasters wasn’t apparent. Officials were rightly focusing first on search and rescue for those threatened by floodwaters, but in the days ahead the attention will focus on clean up and rebuilding. Red Cross and private companies are also doing what they can and will be doing more as people need food and temporary shelter.

I guess I'm not seeing that this would make headlines considering it's still a fluid situation with lives on the line.
