Mexico withdraws aid offer to Texas after disasters

What drug laws, honey pot?
Do you think that whatever passes for drug laws makes a dent in out massive demand for the product?

Are you under the impression that all Dreamers are Mexican?

Did he say they were?

He was proposing a humanitarian relief effort in the form of 800,000 allegedly wonderful people who are supposedly great achievers.

Why would you deny Mexico the benefits of having such swell folks help rebuild their nation after their recent woes?

They don't need to be Mexican to enter Mexico, since you don't seem to think citizenship matters.

Perhaps you should examine the statutes on the books and the frequent attempts by leftist liberals to undermine, repeal and reduce sentencing for those convicted of drug offenses.

The fact is that no law is ever 100% effective.

People want pleasurable sensation, sure. You aren't going to stop that, and Americans are not unique in that regard. Do you care about trying to mitigate the damage done by Mexican heroin and other addictive drugs? Or will you blame American addicts - the victims, for "demanding" the supply?

By securing our border you can interdict some of the flow of deadly drugs, regardless of the cravings of addicts in the USA.

Securing our borders will make zero impact on the drug trade. Time to get you head out of your ass and stop pretending to live in never never land.
When is Mexico going to pay for the wall? I would have thought we would have had their payment by now.
Drug users do not belong in jail, now or ever.

Nice try at conflating issues. Your deflection attempt is a failure.

Where do people who are convicted of crimes belong?

Maybe we should also imprison those who abuse prescription pain medications. After all they are drugs, the offer pleasurable sensations, and they are just as bad or worse than the use of marijuana.

Indeed we should - if prescription drug abuse is in fact illegal, and if an abuser is convicted, and if imprisonment is the punishment mandated or allowed by statute and a court imposes it.

That's called the rule of law.

No, I know that the former president of Mexico believes that Dreamers are essential to the US economy.

It was either disingenuous or ignorant for anyone to assume otherwise after reading your comment. I suspect Floriduhfan is both.

Don't some liberals also claim that Dreamers are making America great?

Just think what wonders all 800,000 of them could achieve in the service of humanity if they were sent to international disaster sites all over the world! :rofl2:

Cute.
TDAK will probably like your post...
Carry on...

The use of drugs by a citizen should not be a crime. Only those convicted of drug dealing deserve jail time.

Maybe you should run for office on that platform. As a DEMOCRAT.

Of course, then you'd have to win an election, write and sponsor a bill, get it passed and signed into law.

Get your mommy to explain how laws are made, if she can. :rofl2:
