Actually that sounds pretty frugal until I am reminded that a purse in America is, in fact, a handbag. As a father of a daughter who has either 45 pairs of shoes and 90 handbags or 90 pairs of shoes and 45 handbags I find the whole thing absolutely ridiculous!

It was great, thanks. I really liked Shanghai. Very international city. I will say I could not bear the heat and humidity. That was brutal. I had forgotten about government censorship. No Facebook, YouTube or Twitter. Even my company's website was banned in Shanghi (we sell American real estate to Chinese investors).

Shanghai was very impressive. We were out on a Sunday night and there was lots of activity and just a great buzz about the place. Wish I had a chance to spend more than a day there but I was there long enough to understand why my American friends who had visited it previously all spoke very highly about it.

Next time you should stop off in HK. There is some competition between the two cities, but of course, we do have facebook, twitter etc. .... more's the pity!!

No, but I am sure that your wife has more class than to be talking at the neighbors kitchen table, hearing how the neighbors are struggling, might loose their jobs, and could face bankruptcy, then say she is just like them as her Coach bag rests on the table between them....

I guess you missed what I said yesterday, so I'll repeat it to educate you some.

It wasn't just Democrats that jumped on Palin. Republicans did to. Why? Because they paid 150k for the Queen of the Wasilla Hillbillies clothes, then she refused to return them, and when she did they were in a garbage bag.

I'm not sure what I'm suppose to get over. That rich people wear expensive clothes? That doesn't bother me. I didn't vote for Obama in '08 and I'm not voting for him in '12 but it has nothing to do with the fact that his wife wore an expensive shirt. If it is so offensive to you that Ms. Obama wore an expensive shirt then to each his own. It doesn't bother me.
