You aren't talking about the situation the way it was reported. First, the caption under the pic read Protesters march past the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey, in St. Louis on Friday, July 3, 2020 Credit: Alamy Live News Protestors didn't go up to the house, their destination was another house on the street.
Second, news articles say the couple was eating dinner when the group marched down their street, and they got their guns and went outside to wave them at the protestors. Common sense suggests that if you feel really really threatened, you don't go out and confront people who are scaring you.
Third, the demonstrators were trespassing, not rioting and causing violence. These idiot McCloskeys are lucky it was a peaceful demonstration. Nobody was going to kick them and throw punches because, once again, they were NOT the focus of the demonstration.
