I don't have a problem is poor people have money to spend as long as they earned it rather than begged the government to force their employer to pay them more than they're worth
 
actually my main point was that social services allow business to offload worker costs onto taxpyers, and are actually some more insidious aspects our rampant fascism.

It is all about US pride- IT IS ABOUT LABOR STANDARDS. WE SHOULD HAVE THE HIGHEST LABOR STANDARDS IN THE WORLD FOR LABOR. AND THAT INCLUDES A FAIR AND UP TO DATE MINIMUM WAGE THAT BRINGS US UP TO THE COST OF OUR CURRENT INFLATION AND DOES NOT FOSTER POVERTY, AND DOES DOES NOT ENCOURAGE SWEAT SHOP LABOR.

YOU WILL NEVER HAVE FAIR LABOR COSTS WHEN INFLATION CONTINUES TO OUTRUN THE LABOR COSTS WHICH TAKES ADVANTAGE OF LOW-INCOME WORKERS.

When people are paid a higher wage they tend to be more dedicated to the job they are doing and to their employer.

I stand behind the theory that you are paid exactly what you think you are worth and what your skills demand. Why do you think it should be arbitrary?

I worked for a Union back in the 70's. I was entitled to increases exactly what the contract stated, .05 cents an hour. It didn't matter how productive you were. How hard you worked. It was mandated by contract. I didn't start making REAL money until I left the union and got a college degree.

Unions used to make sense back in the beginning of the industrial age. Today, they have been overtaken by Marxist thugs who don't give a shit about the companies they extort. Unions are the reason cities and State Governments are going bankrupt and can't fund their pension liabilities.
