Well there was this guy running for President....
So was eating alligator when I was a kid. That didn’t stop my uncle who was a Cajun
When was that, that it was illegal and in which state. It had been a delicacy in the South since people settled there.
The only reason he received no sentence was because of his election as POTUS, idiot.
Show us one case of another president or former president being convicted of 34 felonies.

Nationwide, there was about $300 billion in COVID fraud. Mostly, unemployment benefits and the Paycheck Protection Plan. So, $1 billion in Minnesota leaves $299 billion elsewhere. Probably not Somalis, though.
In the late 1960s it was highly illegal they were on the endangered species list. It was against Federal law to kill one but that did not stop uncle Doug.

Interesting. Considering rabies infects many species and there is an effective vaccine.

About $3.1 trillion.
Total federal costs were $5.2 trillion. $1.1 trillion of that was stimulus checks (using IRS records). About $1 trillion was for unemployment benefits to people laid off because the business they were working for was destroyed. The rest (about $3.1 trillion) went to various slush funds and local governments. ALL of that $3.1 trillion I consider fraud.
DEMOCRATS started the Covid Hoax and with it started the economic depression that lasted for five years, and also used it to justify their election fraud, causing the 2020 election cycle to fault.
All because they hate Trump.

The problem was with dog meat.
There is no effective treatment for rabies, once infected.
The vaccine is often administered after a bite or scratch from a potentially infected animal, and it CAN help develop antibodies in time, but other than that, there is no effective treatment for a rabies infection.
The disease is nearly always fatal. In 2023, 55 people in the Philippines died of rabies (reported cases). That was up from the year before (51 deaths recorded).
You give the vaccine to the animals. We give them to our dogs in the US, rabies in dogs is extremely rare here. Treating after a bite from a wild animal is usually done, and it is effective. In this case though you are working with what amounts to livestock, you simply require vaccinations. Horses, cows, goats, pretty much every mammal can get rabies just banning dogs from the table seems a bit silly when they probably require vaccinations in all other livestock.

In elementary school my dad and 12 other boys and a teacher were all bitten by a rabid dog. He said the school would march them down town to a one room doctor's office and take them behind a curtain and give them the shots I think he got 13 in total. He said the worst part was you couldn't cry because all your buddies were on the other side of the curtain.
