MLB Moves All-Star Game to 80% WHITE city with voter ID laws

why use my definition......use Georgia § 21-2-414 which is the law amended by this provision......
here is that law....

https://law.justia.com/codes/georgia/2010/title-21/chapter-2/article-11/part-1/21-2-414/
like we've told you from the beginning......it applies to persons engaged in campaign activities....
now they have prohibited those persons from distributing food or water as well.....

now.....tell me again why you think you aren't an imbecile........
.

Title - Restriction on campaign activities
According to English grammar this means that Activities are restricted. The activities restricted are campaign activities. There is nothing in the title that says campaign activities can be conducted by certain people. The law states no one can perform the activities listed in the law which because of the title those activities restricted would be considered campaign activities. There is no exemption that states they are no longer campaign activities if done by a certain person because the law clearly states "no person" can do the activities.

The problem with your argument is that the law applies to all persons because the law simply defines those activities that are proscribed as campaign activities when we apply the title to the text. Anyone that does them is engaged in a campaign activity so is prohibited from doing them. That means that no one can do them without it being a campaign activity. The Georgia Sec of State has given guidance stating as much. No person can wear a t-shirt with a candidate's name or slogan on it even if the person doesn't support that candidate.

You have failed to give us your definition of "no person". You have simply ignored the meanings of words and substituted your idiotic interpretation that makes no legal or grammatical sense. Simply pointing to the title when you can't explain how it applies does not make a valid logical argument let alone a valid legal argument. As Justice Scalia has said repeatedly you should look to the text for meaning. You have simply ignored the text. Now, you will likely ignore my argument and repeat your idiotic interpretation that says people are restricted and not activities.

The difference is in Colorado everybody gets mailed a ballot automatically so you see again you're just nothing but an inbred ignorant uneducated moron

Inbred? Doubtlessly true, but probably not responsible for his own conception. His mom and grandad/dad were just close.

Ignorant and uneducated? Also clearly true, but Captain Obvious can do his own commentary without our help.

The real reason for our being treated to these trumpanzee posts is something altogether different: DEVOLUTION.

and thus, there is no restriction on distributing food and water if you are NOT people engaging in campaign activities......now do you understand why we consider you a fucking idiot?.....

LOL.. According to GA law the activity is ALWAYS considered a campaign activity when someone is in line to vote or within 150 of the voting place no matter what person is distributing it. That is why it has a restriction. Perhaps you can walk down the hall to find a real lawyer to explain it to you.

sorry fuckwit.....the Georgia law only prohibits campaign activity.........if the Salvation Army is distributing food and water it is not a violation of the law........and you have a real lawyer explaining it to you, you're just too ignorant to understand it......

So then the Salvation army can stop down and pass out literature to everyone in line? The Salvation army can stop down and give $100 to everyone that is in line to vote? The Salvation Army can stop down and set up tables in the polling place? The Salvation Army can stop down and ask everyone in line to sign a petition to praise Jesus? The Salvation army can also stop down wearing MAGA T-shirts? The Salvation Army can also conduct polling as to whether they should put red kettles in front of Walmart?

Let's see how GA officials interpret the law...
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger wants you to know that anyone who offers a cup of hot chocolate to any voter standing in line – and any voter who partakes of said cup of warmth – could be guilty of a felony under Georgia law.

I know.....

Thanks for violating TOS while not actually debating any part of the topic. So you think the Salvation Army can violate the law at will but you just refuse to answer because you don't want to look real smart for saying so?

Do you want to call the governor of GA a fool as well since you are so sure of your position? He only signed it into law after all so what could he possibly know about the intent?
