more ignorance of the law as an excuse

Did I say that?

It's no wonder we can't have a discussion about this...you can't even be counted on to accurately repeat what I said.

You're saying it's perfectly fine to arrest (though not charge) and publically ridicule an individual for exercising their individual rights and wishing to do so in peace. Or am I mistaken?

I am saying that one week removed from the latest act of domestic terrorism that took place at a movie theater right across town, a reasonable person might understand that the authorities JUST MIGHT be on higher alert and others moviegoers might see someone with a gun and think they were in danger and just possibly use a little decorum when choosing between the discreet ankle holster or the "that's right, I'm packing a gun" holster on his hip..

you asked about potential....apparently you don't even have the intelligence to understand what it is you asked for. there are actual examples, but i'm going to educate you on what you asked for:

Definition of POTENTIAL

: existing in possibility : capable of development into actuality

http://www.merriam-webster.com/medical/potential

you're welcome.

Oh, I forgot - for a minute there I thought I was conversing with a grown-up. My bad.

Guns are designed to kill and nothing else. The potential for death exists every time it's fired around people. Does the potential for death exist every time someone protests? Has their lawyer present? Brings a koran somewhere?

I'm sure your answer will be 'yes', and you will equate these and gun rights as exactly the same, with the exact same potential for death. Right yurt?

every time a group organizes for protesting, there absolutely exists the potential for death. to pretend otherwise shows you're nothing but a two bit hack. the fact is:

owning a gun is a constitutional right. period. end of story. i know you don't like the US constitution, so why don't you work on changing it instead of crying about it on political boards?

is this the "rational debate" zappa is talking about? if so, no wonder he sticks to whining and insulting.

Does that potential equate to the potential for death every time a gun is fired around people? Yes or no?

'To pretend' what, yurt? That your comparison of the right to carry a gun being no more dangerous to life and limb as the right to protest or bring a koran somewhere isn't directly-pulled-from-your-ass ridiculous? I'm not pretending. It IS directly-pulled-from-your-ass ridiculous. And thinking it isn't shows you're completely disconnected from common sense and minimal intelligence.

you asked for a potential....now that you've been shown that there exists a potential, you of course have to move the goal posts. why is that? why is it you can't accept an answer to your question? why is it that you have to constantly move the goal posts in an attempt to get the answer you really want instead of a truthful answer?

is it because you're democrat hack who will never change her POV because you're a hack?
