A new Quinnipiac University poll shows 64% of voters say Republicans and Democrats are equally to blame for the gridlock.

But when asked if the standstill occurs because of the GOP blocking President Obama or whether Obama lacks the skills to bring Congress together, 51% point fingers at Republicans. By comparison, 35% of voters say Obama "lacks the personal skills to convince leaders of Congress to work together."

The poll's findings come as the GOP-led House considers changes to the nation's immigration system -- and House Speaker John Boehner and his Republican allies are adamant they won't consider the bipartisan bill passed by the Senate

Does anyone ask them if the problem is caused by the racists' considering this mixed President to be 'black' and therefore whatever their weirdo imaginings my suggest?

Public opinion is often a poor judgement of reality. This is especially true when a society puts to use traditional capitalist class distinctions.

Perhaps you should have looked at the details of the poll (linked to from the article)

rom June 28 - July 8, Quinnipiac University surveyed 2,014 registered voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.2 percentage points. Live interviewers call land lines and cell phones.

Based on the results, looks like it was a pretty even split. For example -
1. If the election for the U.S. House of Representatives were being held today, would you vote for the Republican candidate or for the Democratic candidate in your district?

came out 34% repub/39% dem (rest were someone else, won't vote, don't know)

Or you can just express your biased opinions some more. Up to you.

Are you implying that because he is mixed race he should not be considered black?

did they list the number of democrats asked, to republicans asked, because they skew the polls that way to influence people

in what category is there opportunity for the right to grow their voting base?

Well, they get about 5% - 10% of the black vote right now. Seems like a lot of room to grow there. Romney got 27% of the fastest growing voting block in America, Hispanics, so also a lot of room there. Republicans got less than 50% of the women. I'd say there's an opportunity there as well.
