Sadly, my rep is doing EXACTLY what he promised... which is voting no on anything that would help our district if it costs more than 1 penny. We thought our last one was bad; here, in an agricultural district, our current one still voted against the farm bill. (Our last one voted for it, but he's in a new district now.)

Don't know how much the farm bill would have helped our district, but I think our farmers wanted it passed.

And tekkychick I'll be the first to say I have plenty of issues with the Republican Party. That's why you'll rarely catch me saying 'Republicans are the best, Republicans can do no wrong etc.' Now don't get me wrong I can be just as partisan as anyone else as well as a hypocrite but it's just too facile an answer, imo, to say my side always right your side always wrong.

Wow! What a tortured, convoluted route they took to say that the republicans in congress were pretty much doing what the republican voters elected them to do: Do anything they could to block this administration's stupid policies. Hooray for gridlock! It's like putting the country on life support until Obama heads back to Chicago.

There are no races, obviously, except the human, but if a 'white' mother marries a 'black' father (to play the nutters' games) obviously the child is mixed, like most Americans.

I'm not an anarchist. We need government. I just believe there are a few things government does better than the private sector and many things the private sector does better than government. I understand not everyone agrees with that. Those are my beliefs. If the Democrats tomorrow started espousing those views I would be a Democrat (or should say I would vote for them).

then the republican cheating must be even worse than we think if they are winning with 35% the right to control what our country does at every turn.


Is the minority supposed to get their way in a Democracy?

but they seem to think that even in the human body the black and white will separate and the person will be Half this and half that .

they are just sure the genes will fight each other like they fight people of color.


the creepy assed cracker party and the people who vote for them ( and even the people who say they don't vote for them but sure seem to defend killing black kids who try to protect themselves from creepy assed crackers hunting them down at random)just cant figure out just how racist they are.



its all the black peoples fault for being too sensitive about having their children murdered by random crackers who don't like them in their neighborhood

I'm not trying to be obtuse but I honestly have no idea the point you are trying to make. When filling out the United Stated census form there is not a box for "human" race so we must select "white", "black", "Asian" etc. And I'm not following what the "nutters" reference is about as well. I'm interested in your point but I'm just not understanding it.

You have a nutty system. Just because your racists impose nonsense on the census doesn't make nonsense sense. There are no races other than the human. Has anyone been prosecuted for refusing to write bilge? When asked about my origins here I always write 'Mind your own business' or 'Chinese', and no-one has ever taken it up.

That's an interesting concept that it's racists that make us identify what "race" we are.

The US, at the moment anyway, is the central country of capitalism, and what goes on there is bound to effect what happens elsewhere (pretending there is no alternative to capitalism, trying to build up an essentially racist war against Islam for oil, trying to revive a dead religion and so on). Because the rhetoric of that particular capitalist territory emphases a 'freedom' it cannot deliver, it compensates for this by a ludicrous fetishism of guns. When you mix this up with the outdated racism that survives from its earlier bullshit, you get the usual outrageous corruptions of justice that weaken the system by making it contemptible. Capitalism will have somehow to jettison the earlier filth if it is to make use of the later nonsense, clearly.
