Does any sane individual (accent on 'sane') believe that no matter how vast NATO became, anyone would be interested in invading Russia? Putin is the one who invades neighbors, and pays Americans to install his supporters into foreign governments.

He has always had a messianic vision of reuniting what he considers the core areas of the old Russian empire, specifically the East Slavs.

NATO expansion is not the primary grievance driving him.

He has had this vision of reconstituting the old Russian empire since the 1990s. That was before NATO expansion.
I think he decided he had reached his crossing the Rubicon moment.

The fact that Zelensky didn't go along with the grift proves Ukraine isn't too corrupt to join NATO; quite the opposite. Zelensky dismissing Trump's corrupt request solidified him as a man of integrity...which is something Anatta knows NOTHING about.
