There is some speculation that the state security council only went along grudgingly with Putin's war. The decision was largely his and his alone. It's possible that the heads of the security and intelligence services on the security council could begin to consider Putin a liability.

I saw a piece that claimed that historically, that's how dictators are toppled.

Putin's raging paranoia is worse than trump's right now.

The security council is saying that they didn't vote for this attack. Just a 'protection' of very specific regions that Putin initially used to start this war.

I don't think his military will go through with a nuke attack. Much the same as our generals were set to remove trump if he ordered a similar attack.

Assassinating Putin will be tough. I too would like to see that convoy obliterated.

I was thinking the same. About 20% of Putin's 'troops' are trained. The rest are conscripts who want no part of this war.

Many more are now surrendering, as they have 'Ukrainian mothers'. The mutiny at Odessa is huge. The conscripts refused to storm the heavily guarded beach. Captured soldiers are all noting that they have no idea what their mission is, or why they are in Ukraine.

Putin is now afraid to show his face.

This gets interesting now.

Yep. MAGAs laugh at the sanctions.

Too many tiny cuts to ignore now. Putin's economy is in shambles. His military does NOT agree with his war crimes. Each day that every day Russians suffer financially, Putin gets closer to that Deliverance moment.

He gets credit for the Russian reset. Problem was his own state dept (Nuland/Kagan) undermined him
