Our country is still, to some extent, living with the 400 year old legacy of slavery, discrimination, and Jim Crow - which only nominally ended under the force of law about half a century ago - within the lifetimes of some of us.

To deny our country is still living with the legacy of slavery, discrimination, and Jim Crow is to make a choice to be willfully dishonest.

The list of social and economic policies that were provided by a black poster as examples of restitution, aka examples of national policies that have the potential to ameliorate that 400 year old legacy. Most of them were eminently reasonable or at least open to serious and mature discussion.
And that list of ideas was certainly a more genuine and sincere attempt to address the question of restitution than your trollish and insincere attempt in the OP.

I take by your posts that you are African American. And as such you have a vested interest in seeing reparations. I like most whites have no vested interest and can reasonably see this is just another attempt by the left to get the black vote. Ever wonder why this wasn't an issue when Obama ran? Simple you knew he would get the black vote and he did.

It's all good.

Don't get me wrong, we all think we deserve a check in the mail, but we know that would never happen. Although, white people/government have given other ethnic groups cash reparations.

Everything I listed intentional hurts the Black community.

And that's just a start.

A real political candidate would address these issues no matter how mad white people get.

I would imagine someone from Africa wouldn't accept 10,000....that's an insult.
