New signs of dementia...

Much much worse.... and he needs written directions for every move... and even that doesn't help...
Guess they forgot to write down: Shake the hand of the Brazilian president before you exit stage right...after all, you almost knocked down his flag....

Biden reads from a teleprompter like a fourth grader.

He can’t speak extemporaneously without complete brain locks.

This is the man with the nuclear codes (shudder).

So now instead of repeating
a few words he just repeats whole stories. Man that is some serious stuttering:laugh:
The stuttering is not to blame for the verbal mistakes...of the stumbles or bike incidents...of the confusion of which way to go...or forgetting where he is...etc...

yes Trump is.

Without a teleprompter the stuff he says is incomprehensible. With a teleprompter is a blurry mess of slurred words.

Again you guys cannot produce any video as bad as the first 2 minutes of Trump above. And he was younger in those videos and has only got worse since.

New poll shows Clinton over Trump by double-digits

Updated 4:43 PM EDT, Sun October 23, 2016
...

Meanwhile in the reality that is NOT polls,
Democrats keep winning special elections in battleground states

Elections are the answer to Trumpism, which aims to undermine the Constitution that protects our freedoms.

Yesterday, we saw the antidote at work once again, and in battleground states, in special elections for state House seats in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania. Both victories were consistent with a 2023 national trend, with abortion-rights Democrats overperforming in the wake of the 2022 Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, the 1973 decision that legalized abortion nationally.

In New Hampshire, Democrat Hal Rafter flipped a GOP seat in the southern part of the state. Rafter won 56 percent to 44 percent in a district that Trump won by less than a point in 2020, 49.1 to 48.7 percent. Though it’s a small district, that’s a 12 percent turnaround....

...Signs abound that voters’ reaction to the loss of those rights could carry into 2024.

In Pennsylvania, the victory of candidate Lindsay Powell was also consistent with a larger 2023 trend of Democratic overperformance....

...Brent Peabody of the Center for a New American Security has tracked Democrats’ overperformance in more than 20 state elections in 2023. The party’s candidates have outpaced Biden’s 2020 performance by substantial margins.

Noting the same trend, ABC News reported that Democrats had “outperformed the partisan lean” by an average of 10 percent in an analysis of 23 special elections in 2023. ..

BUT TRUMP!!!!!!!!

Yes this thread is about New Signs of Dementia and Trump has many.

But oh ya, wait, you think Trump should be off limits in this forum and thus any time he is mentioned, in any of the 10 other BUT BIDEN mentions, you feel the need to cry out to leave Trump alone in your TDS.

Just last year at Christmas, at my Mother in law's house, I sat next to a lovely lady that I've known for years. This lovely lady got lost on her way over to her house, a house she's been to at least 5 times in the preceding two months as she is a good friend and a frequent visitor to my MIL. My BIL had to go and get her and his wife drove her car to my MIL's house.

As we sat down to dinner this lovely lady, who has deepening dementia, regaled me with a story. Then just minutes later with the same story. Then later in the evening she told me that same story. I listened raptly each time and exclaimed and "uh-huh'd" at all the right times.

My MIL notes that this lovely lady has some personality shifts, she gets angry easily, yells at folks... Such a shame. I may not see her again, probably won't really as she's since been put into a home.

This story is to put this into context:

I do not believe pResident Biden is capable of running his food schedule let alone this nation. He gets angry and yells at staff one of the users here used this one as a way to supposedly "prove" he didn't have dementia but anger issues is a sign of dementia, he has false memory issues repeatedly telling stories that we know to be untrue, sometimes even days apart, and now we see that cannot even remember he's regaled us with the same story he's telling just minutes after.

While I hope they wait until it is too late for the Dems to replace him effectively on the ticket before they try to make this right, I do hope they eventually do the right thing. This isn't an age issue, this man is showing serious signs of a deepening dementia. Shoot, my uncle suffered from this much younger than Biden. Illness is not age. Biden wakes up somewhere around 10 and puts a lid on it at noon, takes weeks of vacation to prepare for a 5 question scripted "presser" that he still messes up with fictional memories.

All this makes me wonder who really is running this mess? Because evidence seems to show that it can't be Joseph R. Biden Jr., each day we seem to have more evidence that he just doesn't have the wit left to do that.

Indeed.

We will see. I heard that last time. IF Trump is the nominee it is not really an issue for me and many others... Treason is worse than mental disability. Additionally I see problems with Trumps cognition as well.

You nailed it. Biden surrounds himself with a competent team of intelligent, experienced advisors. They aren't going to let Biden make any outrageous decisions.

On the other hand, Trump doesn't listen to his advisers. If he wants to create fake electors or wants his Republican Guard to storm the Capitol, no advisor's going to stop him.

Read the article:

The long list of Trump administration officials turned critics

Having overseen the highest turnover rate in presidential history, President Donald Trump was bound to have a few disgruntled ex-aides.

Instead, a steady succession of ex-administration advisers – including some of his highest-ranking Cabinet officials who spoke or met with him regularly – have spoken out against his leadership and character, a remarkable break in precedent for a norm-shattering president.

Some of those once in his innermost circle have described an impulsive president who disregards advice and lacks adult sensibilities.

Others have questioned his motivations and ability to lead.

All White Houses find themselves confronting the odd tell-all memoir or interview from a jaundiced aide. But Trump, who is famous for demanding loyalty, has not appeared to inspire great confidence in those who quit or were dismissed from his administration.

Those officials aren’t just comprised of holdovers from the Obama administration, staff compelled to testify under oath, or career intelligence and Justice Department officials Trump has dubbed as being part of the so-called “deep state.”

There’s a long list of allies-turned-critics that includes several of the men and women Trump hand-selected to lead agencies across the federal government. Here’s a working list.

Or his fictional personal history repeatedly given though debunked and known to be false, or his temper flares at staff when he's forgotten something, or his wandering off stage without shaking the Brazilian President's hand, or his stumbling into the Brazilian Flag, or his repeated stories minutes apart.

I am not a fan of Trump and I haven't been afraid to note it, while I think his narcissistic approach is horrid, his anger issues are not a change in his personality. His one time "covfefe" error in twitter notwithstanding he doesn't seem to have an issue with spelling, or relating a story only once in one dinner, he doesn't make up fictional memories of losing a son in Iraq and relate them to veterans... he never had stage notes telling him "YOU" stand at the podium, then "YOU" bold and capitalized, call on <name reporter here> who will ask <state full question verbatim> and "YOU" will answer... so on and so forth, because the man didn't need that kind of preparation.

I don't like the man, but he does not display the same issues as Biden does. Not by a long margin.

the man who was the preacher at my wife's church when she was in high school retired near us and she frequently helped his wife when she had doctor's appointments, etc.......they invited us over for dinner one evening......he told me how he had met my wife.......27 times.......

they let him make decisions about the southern border.......only someone with dementia would do what we did down there......

Yeah, that's what it was like talking to this lady, and apparently Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.. The same story, repeated. And they don't realize it... That's dementia. Now if he remembered it in some fictional fashion (like he thought he met her before she was born) it would be yet a different one, but still would be a sign of dementia. Biden loves telling a fictional story about how he spoke with a train conductor that was dead for years before the conversation could have happened, he never met the guy unless he was Haley Joel Osment's character in The Sixth Sense (he can't be, he's too busy being the main character in the combined new film that takes 50 First Dates and Weekend at Bernie's and makes a fusion called "50 First Weekends at Brandon's")... He's repeated this same fictional event more than once because his brain is giving him false memories, like the one he's repeated about "losing his son in Iraq", fiction but repeated anyway...

That isn't stuttering.

You are flat-out wrong. Joe does not have dementia. He has vestiges of his stuttering problem, but he is governing as presidents always have. Trump rambles like he is nearly retarded. He makes no sense nearly every time he opens his food hole. Biden is many levels above Trump.

A stuttering problem isn't indicated by repeating stories within minutes without realizing you've already been there, that's not stuttering, that's dementia. It also is not indicated by your brain giving you false memories that you repeat even though you've been told they aren't real (like losing a son in Iraq, meeting the dead train conductor, seeing a bridge collapse that he came after the fact for, being at ground zero on 9/12) Or spending weeks on "vacation" preparing for a 5 question scripted presser that you still muck up with a false memory (Surfacing momentarily to relate a fictional story about almost losing his house in a fire, which he repeated after he related that same false memory in Florida saying he almost lost his wife and cat along with his car) about how you were "at ground zero the day after 9/11". None of these are stuttering, but you are a true believer and they all are really good at ignoring signs of dementia lately.

So calling the Hispanic Caucus the Black Caucus Repeating the same story almost verbatim to the same group five minutes apart calling LL Cool Jay a BOY is a stuttering problem? Are you insane? Please explain how that is a vestige of his stuttering problem. (This is going to be good )

I see you didn't respond to what I posted. Understandable...Joe is quite an embarrassment...

That's just stuttering, and though it was on video tape according to BrandonpResident it is a "lie". I don't know why but they would rather lie to themselves than just hold a democratic process, you know like a primary, to select an actually functioning candidate.
