Again, he was outspent in Ohio 10 to 1!
4:1. Not 10:1.
And it doesn't matter if he is outspent. Money wins elections. That's a plus, not a minus. You are basically saying that "if romney didn't use something that helps win elections, he would have lost the election"
Doesn't make sense. Spending power is just as good as ideas when it comes to the theatre of politics.
He only lost by one point.
But he lost. And he was so unorganized and inept he didn't even reg in the counties most favorable for him.
And he was up by 10-18 points a week ago. So although you are spinning it as a one point loss, it's really that he basically bled out voters left and right.
Yes, some liberals are anticipating Santorum because they believe he can be defeated by turning the election into social conservative issues, but that will not be what the election is decided on. The GOP elite are certainly not giving Santorum a chance, to a letter, they all say he is done.
yes, it wont be what it's decided on, which is why it's stupid for him (and a complete waste of time/resources) to bring up issues that are complete losers for the republicans.
Again, if Santorum and Newt had not split the rest of the vote, Romney wouldn't have won ANY state last night.
Ah, heres what you do best. Plainly make shit up hoping no one throws facts in your face.
Now I know I am making a mistake asking you math questions, but I think even you can handle these:
What's 12+4 dixie?
what's 18+2?
What's 23+8?
In your fantasy world of a non-existent yesterday,
that's still 90 delegate votes locked up for romney. Not to mention how many he would have taken for placing second anyway. And that's with your best case scenario.
Also it's a bit foolish to assume that santorum would get every single vote from newt. Republicans have constantly stated that they see romney as the most electable, and they trust him the most on the issue of the economy. It's perfectly plausible that if one sides chosen boytoy isn't in the race, and their flirtation with a mouthbreather comes to an end, that they shape up and step in line. Also I would be willing to bet that more ron paul supporters would vote romney over santorum of newt. They may not agree with romney on a lot, but he's the lesser of the other 3 evils, given that he's not a hardcore social conservative and he's relatively fiscally conservative. so two can play your what if scenario game. The bottom line is, it didn't happen, it wont happen, and it's irrelevant.
He didn't get anywhere near plurality, and that should worry the Romney team.
Either
STOP LYING or
DO YOUR FUCKING RESEARCH.
Super Tuesday stats:
total --- 3633216
Romeny - 1387342
Santorum - 974865

Romney had 38% of the vote, more than anyone else. Which is, in fact, a
plurality. He also Had a
MAJORITY in 2 of the states I listed above, even if you add santorum and newts totals together.
Also romney does not have to worry. Because you will vote for him in november if he is nominated, and everyone knows it. That's the thing you keep failing to understand. You will be assimilated.
We've got a strange situation, the candidate who is getting most of the vote, is not the candidate the majority of the party wants.
You could say that for anyone in this election.
