NFL: League NOT seeking mandate for players to stand during anthem

It's interesting this idea that minority cops don't kill other minorities. The chief of police in Baltimore when Freddie Gray was killed as black and three of the officers charged were black. The black dude shot in Minnesota was killed by a Hispanic officer. Michael Bennett lied about what happened to him but he claimed he was profiled for being black and the officers were two Hispanics and one black guy.

So the idea that the players are protesting against only racist white cops but not all police officers is a strange one.

Did anyone ever state the color of the cops they had problems with? Bennett lied?

The black cops in Baltimore were all found innocent because of the gross overcharging without substance

I haven't heard any of the players call out cops by race but TTQ64 did just a couple of posts ago. I'm no expert but the effectiveness of the argument seems to go down when you separate the cops by race when cops of all races have contributed to the problem.

There is no inequality of opportunity in this country, blacks are killed by police at a nearly identical proportion of the number of blacks who commit felonies and they do poorer in socioeconomic mobility than other groups because they have higher rates of single parenthood and drop out of highschool, it has nothing to do with the evil white man holding them down and everything to do with their diseased thug culture.

They were found innocent because the white bicycle kops had already broke his neck when they originally terrorized and harassed him upon initial contact.

The white bicycle kops are who is being protested. They had no reason to stop Grey in the first place. Is that message clear?

Grey ran. he was a known heroin dealer. That gave the cops probable cause.
So you are fine with black cops not being charged for their "rough rides"

I haven't seen it but I read the reviews when it came out so I'm familiar with it.

NWA spoke about it in F Tha Police when Ice Cube said black police showing out for the white cops. The movie Boyz N Tha Hood did it too.

Today many cities around the country have a black or Hispanic person as chief of police. And many have much more diverse forces today than in the past. That doesn't mean all problems will go away. Not by a long shot. But it doesn't make my comment assinine either
