NFL Playoffs

My beloved GIANTS pulled a win out...and looked rather good doing it. Next week they go up against the Eagles. Gonna be a MUCH tougher game. I hope they do well.

Games so far have been exciting, LR.

My brother (who is Hard Right) gave up the NFL during the kneel-taking stuff, but he has come back to enjoy the games.

I also picked the Giants for the win.

Never thought I'd see the day where I'd have to pick betweeen the Cravens or the Bungles.

Glad the Bungles won. And tonight I'm happy to see Dak Prescott beating up on Tom Brady.

There’s a pretty good OU connection with the Bengals so I was definitely rooting for them over the Ravens. Was really glad Hollywood Brown left the Ravens so I didn’t feel as compelled to root for them this year. ;)

I am a Steelers fan! :(

My two favorite teams are the Steelers and whoever plays Dallas.
(we do have a good up and coming QB)

Keeping it here in PA, I guess I'm for the Eagles.

Cowboys whup the Bucs on their home turf last night 31-14.

It didn’t help that Brady threw a red zone interception early in the game.

Next up for the Cowboys, the 49s who are 4 point favorites.

And of course I’ll be rooting for the Cowboys. Been a fan since I was 5. Hard not to root for that Purdy kid though. Anytime someone is dubbed “Mr. Irrelevant” I’m probably gonna root for his/her success. So if SanFran wins next week … it may come down to two quarterbacks the experts said couldn’t be pro quarterbacks. Fun stuff no matter how it turns out.

No team has a theme song like the 49ers with E-40 and Bang Bang Niner Game. And once again we get the hated Cowboys and America gets to watch the rise of one Mr. Brock Purdy. It's only Tuesday and the pre-game butterfly's/excitement is already flowing. Can't wait.

Do you know what happened to Garrapolo?

Steelers fan? That is like hitting yourself in the head with a 2x4 every Sunday, to come so close so often and yet still not get over the hump

And of course the SF guy has to check in with his west coast bias

How in the hell can you have a “team theme song” that is over two minutes long and has nearly a twenty second intro? Love to hear the crowd try to sing and dance to that one, the guy sitting in the stands can run out and get another beer before the song ends

If they only had Hugh McElhenny

The NFC feels like the 90's again

The 49ers play in a soft division where they rack up wins, but don't actually play anyone to get there

The NFC East is by far the superior division.

My hunch is the clock strikes midnight on both Purdy and the Giants next week . The 49ers have not beaten a single team left in the playoffs - everyone is raving about the rookie QB, but he has played a very soft schedule. The Giants are smoke and mirrors - everyone wishes the Giants are who they get to play in the playoffs

In contrast, Dallas is 4-2 against the remaining playoff field - and I think would be favored against the Eagles. The Chiefs or Bills will crush whoever they face in the superbowl though

That's a great song by a Bay Area rap legend. It's more a theme song for the fans but it represents the Bay and the 49ers very well.

Weak division? It was definitely down this year for sure but the Super Bowl winner, the two participants in the NFC Championship Game and three playoff teams came out of the division last year.

Only one team is going to win the SB obviously but the Niners have a good a chance as anyone. Purdy has shown he can handle the pressure and the talent on the rest of the roster matches anyone else. All props to Philly and the season they have had but Brock Purdy has won more playoff games than Jalen Hurts. Point being don't pencil them into the SB just yet.

(Edit: I think K.C. is rightfully the favorite to win the SB but they aren't an unbeatable team.)

I find after two years of not following football at all and for the two years before that only caring about or watching the Seahawks that I dont miss it at all.
