Nikki Haley fires back at Whoopi Goldberg: 'If my age is all they have, it means we’r

We place age restriction on pilots who could kill hundreds we should put age restriction on politicians with their finger on the button that could kill hundreds of millions. SURELY you don't want a mentally incompetent person leading the country do you ???? She does say they should not serve only that they should be mentally competent. Regardless of political party.

Leave it to you to make the most retarded comparisons.

I continue to ask all the religious objectors to abortion why Jesus never specifically condemned abortion.

So...to all of you...

...WHY DID JESUS NOT CONDEMN ABORTION...OR AT LEAST, WHY DID HE NOT CONDEMN ABORTION TO THE EXTENT THAT IT WAS REPORTED IN ONE OF THE GOSPELS?

WHY NOT?

Make a guess?
The unborn are humans. Christ spoke against Murder. Murder is the taking of innocent life. life.

I despise the idea of anyone having to have an abortion at any time. When my wife and I got together, we decided not to have any children...so I had a vasectomy. I did not want her to go through the problems with birth control pills or the like. I took responsibility.

Unfortunately, some pregnancies occur...and either are (or become) unwanted.

What I want is for a woman (in consultation with her doctors if she chooses) to have the right to make the decision to terminate the pregnancy...and to be able to terminate as safely as current medical procedures will allow...

....even until after birth...

your promote baby murder.

Yes it is.

You have all sorts of top Conservative voices pushing this idea that they ALL women to marry younger and stop pursuing careers and education, as they tend to be more Liberal when single and more conservative when married. And what they want is more women married and reliant on their husbands and more conservative.

By replacing it with Domestic fanaticism like what we see coming out of the Right on Jan 6th and with the constant death threats to anyone who dares to speak ill of Trump?

And yet the Republicans NEVER implement any large scale infrastructure projects and worse try to block all them, the very thing America was build upon coming out of the last World War. When you have leading infrastructure and ability to move goods, corporations come and expand and create jobs. When your infrastructure is shit and generations old, and you trains are running on civil war brakes, that pushes away domestic investment.

You want to see the shit hole Southern Republican states start to improve? Put in high speed rail connecting them to their more prosperous Democrat State run neighbours so the cheaper wage workforce from the shithole GOP States can commute easily to compete for the jobs in the much better Democrat run States. That is a win/win for conservatives at it would slightly lower wages and wealth in the Dem States while increasing wealth in the GOP shit holes.

But you will never see Republicans actually vote to do big infrastructure as the pay off is more long term and they would rather just suck all the money out of the economy today via tax cuts or let the corporations instead do giant stock buy backs (while not upgrading train brakes).

By replacing it with govt propaganda like DeSantis is doing and showing he does not believe in Free Speech, even a little bit?

Any free speech advocate should be ashamed and embarrassed by DeSantis. Using the weight of gov't to silence Adult level, Elective classes, no one has to take, because he does not like the subject matter, is the definition of anti Free Speech.

I might hate a person taking a course called 'Why we need more guns and not less' but if it is an optional course that no one is required to take I would certainly never say gov't needs to step in and block it.

no.

wrong.

they just want to stop teaching women than family is unimportant.

everyone agrees we should teach boys to be good fathers.

but if you were to ever suggest that girls be taught to be good mothers. holy shit. watch the shit show.

working is not the point of life.

family is the point of life.

of course, slave owner/globalist seek to make work central, and so diminish family, and by extension, motherhood.

sans satanic choronzonic nihilism, all traditional cultures universally decide family is the central importance of human life.

population reduction nazis hate this truth.

The unborn are humans.

That sounds more like a horror movie title than part of an answer to my question.

Are you making a movie?

A fetus, EL, IS A FETUS. It may become a human if carried to term. But the person whose body is hosting the fetus, the pregnant woman, should be allowed to terminate that pregnancy if she chooses.

Christ spoke against Murder.

Okay...let us say he did. What does that have to do with my question?

Murder is the taking of innocent life. life.

Murder is the UNLAWFUL taking of a human life. Fact is, it doesn't even have to be an innocent life. One can murder someone who is far from innocent.

So I ask again:

WHY DID JESUS NOT CONDEMN ABORTION...OR AT LEAST, WHY DID HE NOT CONDEMN ABORTION TO THE EXTENT THAT IT WAS REPORTED IN ONE OF THE GOSPELS?

WHY NOT?

WHY NOT EXPRESSEDLY SAY, "ANYONE PREGNANT SHALL NOT ABORT THAT PREGNANCY" OR "ABORTION IS WRONG...IT IS A FORM OF MURDER"...

...WHY NOT?

You worked that horse shit into this discussion?

Not that I know of.

But I hope you are not suggesting did not have abortions back then.

The original Hippocratic oath (written by Hippocrates in the same area about 200 years before the life of Jesus) mentioned abortion specifically. Here are two translations of the relevant passage:

"Moreover, I will give no sort of medicine to any pregnant woman, with a view to destroy the child."

"I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion."

Abortionist is probably the second oldest profession...occasioned by the oldest.

So...why did Jesus not mention abortion?

Presumably???

So you think Jesus worked using "presumably", you fucking moron.

Why did Jesus not mention abortion specifically?

because it's so abhorrent he probably never thought he had to say it.

like shit eating. he left out shit eating. that means he's all for it.

So you do not have a reasonable answer...and do not have what it takes to acknowledge that. Okay. With you...it was what I expected.

Anyway, for discussion sake, maybe abortion is not "so abhorrent." In some ways, perhaps it is the moral course to take.

For those who suppose there is a GOD...and who suppose that the GOD they suppose exists is the god of the Bible...abortion in many cases could easily be the course favored by that god. Maybe it is the course, if defeated, that goes against the wishes of the god and, incidentally, ends up being to the distinct disadvantage of the fetus become human.

Maybe that is the reason Jesus did not specifically speak out against it.

Right? Just maybe.
