How you can claim to be a Christian yet fight against anything that helps other people -- food stamps, "welfare," Medicaid, housing assistance -- is beyond my ken. I'm sure that's because none of them are really Christians.

Did it occur to you as it did to me that the price of getting the extension bill passed was to include that expiration date? Seems to me if that is so, then both parties are to blame for daring to compromise with the other to help the people.

I'm okay with that. I'm not okay with spending over a billion to refurbish an ego plane "gift" to Trump. I'm not okay with coughing up for his vanity birthday military parade, or his "renovation" of the WH with his despicable taste in florid gilt doo-dads.

That's the thing about America and other countries that are "socialist." We all pitch in to help each other out. You never know, YOU might lose your job and need to enroll yourself in an ACA plan until you can find another that provides healthcare insurance. You might need subsidies to help cover it. We're here for you.

That is what RFK is working on now, fewer people needing to use the health insurance means lower premiums for everyone. But remember Obama's promise of a cheaper and better health insurance was a abismal failure. And the Democrats want to pump your tax dollars into it to keep it on life support.

If it were up to me I would do away with for-profit hospitals. Make medical education free. More doctors means lower prices. Doctors not having HUGE school debt means they don't have to charge as much. I'd limit the recoverable amount in malpractice suits. I'm make the loser pay for the legal bills of the winner.

The only law suit I was named in the sleazy lawyer named every doctor on the chart then tried to make them pay 80K each to drop them from the suit. I told the lawyer I'd rather have a jury steal it that a sleazy lawyer like him steal it. He dropped me because he knew I didn't do anything wrong. I knew another Doctor that was sued by the same lawyer and the lawyer did the same thing to him. The lawyer started out demand 160 K then 80 K then 40 K then he dropped the radiologist from the case. The radiologist only read the chest X ray of the patient. The reading was 100% correct. Nonsense suits like this would cease it the system on malpractice would be loser pay. Malpractice insurance would go down and doctors wouldn't need to make as much to pay their bills.

I am also not up for paying for the plane. However, that is not in the CR, nor is it something the leftists have said they want to not pay for or negotiate away in order to pass this CR... When they say what they are doing this for, it is for those reimbursements that they, when they were in power, set an expiration on because they were emergency Covid funds.

Hilariouisly copied from elsewhere. Real "doctors" have NOTHING to do with billing... especially when employed by a hospital as you pretend to be. Occasionally an actual physician might be called upon to reverse an insurance company denial. They're far too busy to get into billing issues.

No, I am surprised that you think that is all it would take to mitigate those problems. Personally I think we could mitigate those problems by allowing the market to set the wage, it already has set one far higher than you think. Very few states would have any change at all in the average starting wage with your proposed rate. Regardless... What about the folks that do not have jobs? You want me to pay for their food, do you not?
