Or people who work for small mom & pop businesses that already operate on a shoestring.

Are you saying that not allowing 10 and 12 year old kids to be employed is employment discrimination?

It’s unfortunate we’re not at your level but hold out hope for us. $15/minimum wage increases the barriers to entry for people into the work force. Who does that affect most? Young people we label most vulnerable and at risk. It benefits those with minimum wage jobs who don’t lose them. You tell me which benefits society the most and how that’s tied to cancel culture.

Why do you think the government should be mandating what people are paid? And if the government does set a floor vis a vis minimum wage it doesn’t mean a 16 year old kid can’t earn more.
