It was?
yes
It was?
Kushner made $82 million last year...That was the intention of these grifters.
Just want to let that simmer for a bit -- because that point will be AVOIDED by every Trump lover on this forum but the sting from its truth will still be felt, whether they admit it or not....in fact, most of the motivation for these Trump lovers is them trying to avoid that sting...
The REPUBLICANS are IN-CHARGE ... NOT The Democrats.
No, I hope trump gets impeached... just asking how trump getw away with obvious shell company for over a decade. Was he paying someone off? Or is nyag incompetent.
Stop seeing this so polarized. We have to change ourselves to change the country. Please try.
Preet Bharara had been investigating trump for a long time, which is why trump fired him.I guess we'll have to wait and see. And yes, he resigned. You don't think the fact that he was a major scumbag will be of any use in any defense?
Also, if these alleged violations occurred over a ten-year period, why is this just being brought forth now? Answer, Witch Hunt.
IIRC a lot of people were bent out of shape because he didn't disburse the money he raised fast enough. I have read conflicting reports factually about who chose the beneficiaries, one saying the campaign did and the other saying Trump had before the money was disbursed. Either way, I think it would have a massive chilling effect to say politicians cannot be associated with 501C3's without fear of prosecution. Congressional staff work with and coordinate with non-profits daily. Pretty much every time there is a big economic development or community improvement announcement in my area made, there are fingerprints of a C3 as part of the deal to make it happen as the sell of our local non-profit hospital to a for-profit hospital resulted in the profits being poured into a foundation to assist the community.

And yet you believe that C3s can deal directly with politicians/candidates?Big fonts 1) do not make you correct as you missed the point entirely and 2) don't tell me something I don't already know. I didn't need to google it. I sit on the Board of Directors of 2 of them![]()

This is nothing new
And yet you believe that C3s can deal directly with politicians/candidates?
Corey Lewandowski had direct contact with the foundation, and requested specific disbursements on specific days in order to make trump look good at a specific event. Further, trump used the funds for personal expenses more often than it gave anything to charitable organizations. It can deal with the founder and chair of the foundation. Did The Trump Foundation endorse Trump or explicitly oppose Clinton? Did the Trump Foundation issue voter guides? So far as I can tell, the Trump Foundation raised money for Veterans and gave the money away to veterans. That it made Trump look good does not mean it ran afoul of the rules in that regard. You need something more tangible than "The public knew about it" and so far I haven't seen anything tangible.
Some $2.8 million went to the foundation, the lawsuit said, and the foundation wrongly ceded control of those funds to Trump’s campaign staff, who wrongly disbursed grants at campaign rallies for Trump’s political benefit. Tax-exempt nonprofit groups are legally required to avoid partisan politics.
The lawsuit said Corey Lewandowski, then Trump’s campaign manager, directed some of the funds to be disbursed in Iowa shortly before its caucuses, where voters from the state gather in the first electoral competition to choose parties’ presidential nominees. Lewandowski, who is not a target of the lawsuit, did not respond to a request for comment.
If by 'leftist media talking points' you mean 'facts',then you shouldn't need to ask the question you posed. Yes. trump should be harried forever and ever, given the fact that he ran a campaign that accused Clinton of everything he was doing behind the scenes.Yes, I'm well aware of the leftist media talking points. But the fact remains, still, nothing. Do you actually believe a person should just be harried forever and ever, looking and looking and looking for something, anything? No man, that's not how America is supposed to work. You know this in your heart of hearts.

Anytime I wrap quote tags around outside text, I have to change the font size to 4, or it's too small to easily read. I didn't use large font to affect the volume of my post. I can make the font larger in my previous post re .C3s if it helps?

Yes. I have. And you quoted it.Goes back to what I have already states--not unusual for politicians to be smiling and posing before the camera when foundation money is involved. You still have not provided any evidence the foundation endorsed Trump, opposed Hillary, or engaged in the traditionally bad furtive behaviors. Besides, generally even the ones who do get a tax penalty or a cease and desist directive, not seized and liquidated, etc.
Trump doesn't care about the law..

Remember...this was meant as a publicity stunt. trump never expected, nor wanted to win. He never thought his crimes would see the light of day.
But...here we are.
When a nation endlessly engages in endless bogus illegal wars of global capitalist expansionism, no one cares about the law really.
I see the Democrats have no interest in stopping Mueller's witch hunt.
The part about using the charity to raise money for veterans being illegal because he was running for office is tenuous at best.
