Noncooperation With Congress? Yeah, Nixon Tried That. Didn't Work For Him Either.

Not incurring an impeachment simply because he defied Constitutional directives.
Specify. Void argument fallacy.
There is no such common knowledge. Trump himself is very worried about it.
No, he's out getting things done, despite all the persecution.
He is sending mixed messages as usual.
No, his messages on Twitter are pretty consistent.
There was an attempt to claim he was delighted and felt that it was sure to help him, but then there has also been a lot of tweeting and attacking others, lashing out at anyone he thinks may divert attention from his plight.
Non-exclusive. False dichotomy fallacy.
McConnell has said the Senate will hold the trial if the House impeaches.
So? That's the law. Personally, I hope the Democrats are stupid enough to impeach. It would be political suicide for Biden, Schiff, and Pelosi.

The power of impeachment lies with the House.
Yup. The question is: Are they stupid enough to do it?
It is not up to the executive to decide how impeachment is supposed to go.
He isn't. He is simply not participating in it. He doesn't have to.
The power lies with the House. That's in the Constitution. The House has no Rules requiring a floor vote.
The Constitution does though.
And there is no court to go to about this. (Trump's favorite recourse to get his way.)
Yes there is. It's called the Senate.
Nixon tried not cooperating with the House. Nixon also had articles against him for obstructing the Impeachment Inquiry, in addition to Watergate.
Nixon wasn't impeached.
Trump is going to have articles against him for obstructing the House Impeachment Inquiry, in addition to Abuse of office and Violation of Oath of office, over the Ukraine Affair.
For what crimes? He has not even violated his oath of office.
Keep it up, Mr. President. You're just digging yourself in deeper.
No, that would be the Democrats. Inversion fallacy.

why do you allow hatred to animate your soul?

No hatred. It is just an honest observation of who he is made by evaluating his actions and speech. I don't hate him, but I see him as a very childish and selfish person who is not too bright. He is not qualified for the job. I just hope America can survive his clownish presidency.

you live in a world of made up lies, dude.

Nixon wasn't impeached. Trump is not going to resign.

Nixon was informed that he was going to get impeached by Repub senators. Then he resigned. It was going to happen.
Trump will do what profits him. He will resign before getting impeached or doing too much damage to his brand.

Because you would have to be blind to support him, he is guilty he has verbally admitted it himself and has done it in front of a camera. The hate party thinks that the law can be changed to protect this scum bag.

No hatred.
Lie. You are full of hatred.
It is just an honest observation of who he is made by evaluating his actions and speech.
Lie. You are full of hatred. It is obvious you have not evaluated anything.
I don't hate him,
Lie. Yes you do.
but I see him as a very childish and selfish person who is not too bright.
Insult fallacy, borne out of hatred.
He is not qualified for the job.
He was elected. He is qualified for the job.
I just hope America can survive his clownish presidency.
It's doing quite well, despite your hatred of America and of Trump.

And you can't stand that, can you? :D

Nixon was informed that he was going to get impeached by Repub senators.
The Senate does not have power of impeachment. See Articles I and II.
Then he resigned. It was going to happen.
Why?
Trump will do what profits him.
As always. He's done pretty good at it too! :good4u:
He will resign
Why?
before getting impeached
Do you really think the Democrats are this stupid to actually impeach? Do you realize what that will do to everyone involved?
or doing too much damage to his brand.
Get a clue, dork. His brand is not damaged.

Time and time again we hear Republicans complaining the hearings are preventing the whole story from being heard.

We have to look no further than the White House to see why we are not getting the full story.

It could hardly be more incriminating than the President abusing his power by preventing witnesses from answering legal subpoenas. And he has also prevented the State Department from releasing the records of calls, emails, texts and notes.

And after all, Trump himself would be quite welcome to come to Congress, be sworn in to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and give testimony on his own behalf. He could answer to the charges against him by speaking up for himself. I am sure that if this is all some big misunderstanding and he could clear it all up, he would be absolutely welcome to do so.

That fact that he won't testify, will not take and oath, and will not speak up for himself in any setting where he is legally bound to tell the truth. Instead he constantly lashes out on Twitter.

Talk about Noncooperation with Congress...

he also refuses to allow the documentation that exits to be released

if the documents cleared him he would gladly provide them
