well try Hillary,Bill,Obama or any other DC politician in office or running for president...no matter the side of the aisle...ya will get the same response...Try Tancredo on his site or McCain...ya will have a betta result...sometimes...lol:pke:

A very good question... that was my first thought on the error as well. I just looked, the town was about 1600 (I could not find how many are displaced)

My guess is Obama was told that 10 died and over 1000 were displaced.... which led to the 10,000 number.... totally a guess on my part...

I figured there were over 10k homeless and he simply misstated it. It's easy to look at the pictures of the devastation and believe that many mmore died than did.
 
Its not like he claimed there would be a mushroomcloud over Kansas is we did not vote for him!
