obama calls woman limburger calls slut

Reminds me of Jerry Browns associate calling Meg Whitman a whore. They said it was in relationship to her promises to police unions. Remember folks, Limbaugh, the "private citizen", cannot infer a woman demanding free birth control, at tax payers expense, is asking us to pay for her sex life. No way can he compare that with payment for sex!

The faux outrage this is conjuring is pathetic in light of liberal double standards.

Rush apologists are really out in force tonight...

More like supporters of the hypocrisy mirror for liberals to take a cold hard look at themselves. Rush is a big mouth- but he's entitled to have a big mouth. He used a pretty disparaging analogy, but he is spot on with that analogy. Why should anyone be responsible to pay for the sex habits of someone- especially in light of there being so much free or low cost contraception? Liberals want the government out of their bedrooms, but ask that the government pay for their sex habits? They want the government to overstep constitutional authority to do it? Fuck no- excuse the pun.

Please excuse my ignorance on this but if someone doesn't have insurance what does birth control cost to get? (Not a rhetorical question I have absolutely no idea)

onceler, the king obama apologist.....

ODS

Only you could turn this whole story into anything that OBAMA needs apologies for. Absolutely no one is saying anything negative about Obama calling the student - well, except the board's most ardent Obama hater, that is. LOL

If she stuck to giving blow jobs like most other liberal women, she wouldn't need birth control......but if she needs it for a medical problem, insurance would pay for it.....

On Thursday, Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, the House minority leader, said in a fund-raising appeal that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s “women’s health rapid response fund” had raised $1.1 million and was nearing 500,000 signatures “on our petition against Republicans’ disgraceful assault on women’s rights.”

By Friday afternoon, the campaign committee had raised $1.6 million since Feb. 24, the day after Representative Darrell Issa’s hearings on the issue. Two petition drives had netted 600,000 signatures; 152,000 signed the Democratic petition on Thursday alone.

The more the junkie Limbaugh talks, the more support the Democratic party gets! LoL I think its a great thing the mouthpiece of the Republicon party states their beliefs so accurately and elequently.

Limbaugh and other conservatives like bloggers Erick Erickson and Michelle Malkin are fabricating the claim that Fluke wants taxpayers to pay for contraception. That is blatantly flase. Fluke’s testimony, and the entire contraception debate, is about insurance companies paying for contraception as part of their health coverage, they way they pay for any other medication, such as Viagra. Morevoer, Fluke’s testimony was not about herself, but about a friend who need contraception to fight cancer and other fellow law students.
This conservative narrative, which is pure fantasy, seems to be based on a single bogus article from CNS News, which Limbaugh repeatedly cites, with the ludicrous headline, “Sex-Crazed Co-Eds Going Broke Buying Birth Control, Student Tells Pelosi Hearing Touting Freebie Mandate.”

Any woman can walk into a Planned Parenthood clinic and get 1 year of FREE birth control pills.

As for Brown’s staff member referring to Whitman as a whore, I read the whole thing, and this is what I think. He didn’t just come out of nowhere and say “oh that f’ing Whitman, what a whore”. He is saying they should go after her for being a whore because of pandering to a faction who apparently gave her money. I have no way of knowing that he doesn’t routinely refer to men in the same circumstances as whores. This is a fine distinction, but it’s an important one to me. I use the word whore in a non-gendered way. I call male politicians whores all of the time. I shouldn’t though.

Why shouldn’t I? Because it’s a gendered insult. We are all guilty of it. And no one more so than most of the males on this board who routinely refer to each other as ‘pussies”. A highly-gendered insult. I have made great strides in dropping the word bitch from my vocabulary, and referring to both men and women as “assholes”, a completely non-gendered insult. I slip up sometimes. But who else here is trying? Who else gives a shit?

So as long as you are engaging in gendered insults, you’re just as guilty as this guy who works for Brown. HE was obviously not using it in the manner of, oh she’s such a whore she screws this one and that one etc.

And no, I don’t think it’s any big deal. It’d be better if everyone tried to gender-neutralize their language, and since most people who accept money in exchange for sex (well, there’s not much of a call for it the other way around, lol), are women, then whore will remain a gendered-insult and one we should all avoid. But on the other hand, since our politicians are routinely up for sale to the highest bidder, it’s kind of hard to come up with a more succinct word for them isn’t it?

If there is an R woman who has been on the receiving end of sexism this election, sadly it’s been O’Donnell. I don’t know what she was thinking running that jackass ad “I’m not a witch”, but I cringed when I saw it, and I cringe every time a liberal-leaning pundit makes jokes about it. She is obviously a deeply stupid woman, but the witch thing is asinine, and some male liberals or dems sound sexist when going after her for it.

Default

So, yes, referring to someone as a slut who is wanting to take money from one group (tax payers) to give to herself, so that she can engage in sex, is inflammatory language and bad analogy- But NO different then what was said about Meg Whitman and was defended as justified on this very board.

So, Limbaugh, the "private citizen", cannot infer a woman demanding free birth control, at tax payers expense, who, for all intents and purposes, is asking us to pay for her sex life. No way can he compare that with payment for sex!

Like I said, the faux outrage this is conjuring is pathetic in light of liberal double standards.

limburger seems to be ignorant of how birth control pills work, he must think that they are used like condoms

but then that is the rep stronghold, ignorance, especially sexual ignorance

No, I get the distinct impression he just does not think that tax payers should be forced to pay for them.

where do you get taxpayers paying for her contraceptives?

also, several years of paying for contraceptives is cheaper than covering one pregnancy

insurers paying for contraceptives is cheaper than not

not all contraceptives are used for contraceptive purposes

also, what about insurers paying for viagra, paying men to screw

when a contraceptive is used, at least two people benefit

Government money (the peoples taxes) paying birth control coverage is a taxpayer cost.
Justifying coverage by that kind of logic is equal to the government mandating the cost of protective gear for athletes- One cost of protective gear is cheaper then covering one major injury.
Planned parenthood provides every woman with 1 year of free contraceptives.
Not all insurers pay for viagra- but impotence is a medical condition- sexual activity is not.
No one is denying the benefits of contraceptive use.

please provide links where it says that government money pays for contraceptives and pp provides one year of free contraceptives

impotence is a medical condition- sexual activity is not. -huh? - the only purpose of viagra is to allow sexual activity and what about the fact that at least two people benefit from contraception
