Blah blah blah blah...look, I expect my President to at the very least, be Patriotic. To love their country. And hiding money o ff shore to enrich foreigners ain't cool with me in a President. That's just how I roll.

If its true, which I doubt, at least its not taxpayers money, thus none of your business......Obamas gives away taxpayers money to enrich foreigners .......

I said it didn't strike me as honest and that I didn't buy the fast food - abortion mill equivocation. That is being civil while stating my opinion. I didn't call you names or say you were an idiot or that you were full of shit or anything of the kind. People can disagree while being civil to one another. I know it's hard to believe, but it's possible.

Do you realize that UBS has countless offices in the US? OMG!!! People put their money with them. They are a Swiss Bank. Everyone who banks with them is allowing foreigners to profit!!! OMG!!! OMG!!!

Next we will surely hear how it is unpatriotic of people to buy anything made by foreign companies.

Yes, when you state what a person says is their opinion 'doesn't strike me as honest' you are calling them a liar.

Speaking of liars, I did not state that your imaginary abortion success story was equivalent to the fast food chains. I stated if you wanted a real world example of an industry I detest, that the fast food chains would be one such example. Your ability to create straw men is truly quite amazing.

So Darla... tax havens here are ok? But tax havens overseas are not? Can't help but notice you failed to address that one.

Yes, outsourcing is done to reduce costs (whether that be taxes, labor, transportation etc...). Which is something GM is currently doing. You know... that corporation Obama bailed out only to watch it proclaim immense prosperity yet that same firm can't seem to find the funds to repay its TARP money or get its stock price up to the point where tax payers might break even.

But do tell us how his Swiss bank account is enriching foreigners.

I don't think "equivocation" means what you think it means. To be fair, it probably wasn't the best choice of words there. I should probably have used analogy there. What I mean is, I think you'd feel differently about an national abortion chain that you do about the fast food industry.

SF has this wonderful ability of going up and down the ladder of specificity to support his arguments in favor of Republicans and against Obama. He's basically saying that estate planning and investing in tax havens is basically the same thing (running down the ladder of specificity) because both result in lower tax revenue for the government. Likewise, shutting US operations and opening manufacturing in China for production is the same thing as opening a new facility in China to produce goods for the Chinese market while leaving North American operations intact because both are done for economic reasons.

You think the Swiss banking regulations are the way they are because the Swiss are a kind and generous people and not because the Swiss make money on it?

Not as I understand that term "liar." A liar is a person who knows the truth and says something that he knows to be untrue. As we cannot know exactly how you would respond under the hypothetical circumstances presented, we cannot know the truth about it and you cannot lie about it.

A company should lower costs so that they are able to provide lower priced goods to consumers. If we made everything here, prices on clothing, electronics etc... would skyrocket, making them unaffordable for the average person.

It is truly comical that liberals concept of spreading the wealth and helping the poor stops at our borders. If we help other countries to rise up and create their own middle classes it benefits us as well. That is what we are seeing in China, India and elsewhere.

What is even more comical is Obama (and most Dem leaders) continually promotes outsourcing of American jobs... not to mention vast amounts of our wealth. Yet you liberals tend to stand and cheer that insane decision.
